Gift Nifty suggests a deep red opening.
Nifty - Will open below the 200 SMA. If sustains below for more than an hour, then it will be a big trouble even for short term players.
Supports: 23350 & 23206
Resistances: 23540 & 23675 (Can think above upmove only if sustains above this zone)
BankNifty - Still have unfinished business of testing 200 SMA. Probably with the gap down will complete it today. However if sustains above 49750, this index will provide some support to bulls.
Supports: 49750 (Sustaining below this will cause panicness)
Resistances: 50561 (Can dream of upside only this zone is taken out with some volumes)
Last weekly expiry for MidCap & Bankex today.

Good Morning All,
Finally a test of 200 SMA is done in Nifty. But BN is still pending. Gift Nifty indicates a marginal negative opening.
Nifty - Beyond the intraday movement, today's close is more important as its going to be a weekly close. Nothing big to discuss today. If index manages to stay above 200 SMA that will be a relief for Bulls.
Supports: 23500 & 23350 (Below there is no meaningful support until election result day low of 21281)
BankNifty - 200 SMA is at 49723. If its tested the bounce will be sustainable. If not all upmoves will get sold into.
Supports: 49904 & 49723
Resistances: 50500 & 50865
Nifty & Sensex weekly expiries today.
Do not discontinue your Investments / SIPs if any. These are good accumulation zones. Please remember all fall in markets are temporary and definitely it will move up over a period of time.

Good Morning All,
Gift Nifty indicates a gap down opening.
Nifty - Poor price action. Tested the falling trendline. If there is any recovery it must hold above 23816. If this breaks very good chance of testing the 200 SMA at 23534 before any meaningful recovery. If index moves up without testing 200 SMA, all upmoves are expected to get sold into.
Supports: 23816 & 23534
Resistances: 24004 (There will be continuation of upmove only if this level is crossed). Else selling again will start.
BankNifty - Fall yesterday was lead by HDFC Bank. Without him participating, bulls will never sustain at higher levels.
Supports: 50865 & 50800 (If S2 goes, 50382 is easily possible)
In my opinion markets have factored in the poor inflation data of above 6%. At some point in time we will see a 200-250 point rally if 23816 holds.

Hi All,
I am totally disappointed with today's close. Thats the reason I have suggested exiting all open positions. We are right near the support. But the problem is earlier low. If Nifty break the recent low of 23816, very bright chances of testing the 200 SMA.
Will ensure the losses are recovered from other trades.

Gift Nifty indicates a minor positive opening.
Nifty - Outside Bar. Yesterday Low and High becomes the key. If yesterday low is holding it will try to test the high. Continuation will be seen only on sustaining above it.
Supports: 24004 & 23842
Resistances: 24249 (10 SMA) & 24337
BankNifty - Same Outside Bar. But better than Nifty as it closes above 10, 20 & 100 SMAs. Sustaining above the 50 SMA will trigger a rally towards 52489.
Supports: 51500 & 51294
Resistances: 52177 & 52489
FN weekly expiry today. VIX has gradually cooled off to 14.27. If it drops further towards 13, all fall will get bought into.

Gift Nifty of Friday Close suggests a gap down opening. I feel it will get adjusted a bit after today's opening.
Nifty - With gap down opening we will test the falling trendline again today. Infact will go below it. However if we manage to cross above it again and sustain next round of upmove will start slowly. Already twice we had a 20 SMA halt. So very bright changes this time we will brake the 20 SMA.
Supports: 23000 & 23842 & 23816
Resistances: 24276 & 24486
BankNifty - Make or Break day for this index. Closed below 20 SMA on Friday. If it needs to move up, it must close above 20 SMA today. If not a test of LBB is highly possible.

Resistances: 52007 (A close above this will take it further higher). Else it will be a consolidation.

Interesting index movements in recent days.
Nifty - 24466.85 Vs FN - 24357.80
Until Mid October the difference between both indices was 1000+ points. Now its marginally above 100 points.
Reason: IT/Auto/RIL dropped in the last two weeks. Whereas Banks & NBFC's started moving upside. The outperformance started from the Day when HDFC Bank results were out.
Its High time for Nifty to play a catch up rally and make the difference atleast 600-700 points. Let us see.

Gift Nifty indicates a flat opening.
Nifty - Finally a Green day after a week. Its a Bullish 1-2-3 pattern for me on charts. Now as long a Friday low holds, we are expected to test the 20 SMA in coming days.
Supports: 24134 & 24073
Resistances: 24492 & 24624 (10 & 100 SMA's coincide with same values)
BankNifty - All SMAs (10, 20, 50 & 100) fall in the range between 51512 to 51784) which is a congestion zone. If manages to take out 51784 then the next bus stop will be only at 52577
Supports: 51012 & 50500
Resistances: 51589 & 51784
FN weekly expiry today. If VIX drops below 14 it will be a good sign for Bulls to give a come back.
