Annaliese was the same case, at the beginning of the year we often had disscutions about her retirement after Paris. So, it's not a surprise. Moreover she did not announce the federation after Paris, that she wants to continue. Us as a coaches we felt sorry for her early retirement, Irina (Deleanu) even prepare some music routines for the new compositions 2025.

GEF is giving away gifts for the New Year - During case, they sanctioned heads of Azerbaijan Gymnastics Federation
Defendants:
• Mariana Vasileva, former AGF Rhythmic Gymnastics Head Coach and member of AGF Executive Committee;
Liable for various mistreatments and physical abuse against athletes, including beating for weight gain; for requiring athletes to perform or train when they were not fit to do so, so as to put gymnasts wellbeing and health at risk; for orally abusing and weight-shaming athletes; for withholding monies and/or rewards of athletes; for depriving and/or preventing athletes from having contact with their families and/or other private communication by depriving them of their mobile phone.
She shall be excluded from participation in any FIG activities and other international events for a period of 18 months, which sanction shall be suspended for 3 years; prohibited for life from being the head coach of any FIG-affiliated Federation; Prior to any return to FIG-regulated gymnastics, she shall be required, as precondition of her return, to undergo safeguarding training 3 months prior to her return to gymnastics to satisfaction of FIG; “Honorary Coach” Diploma awarded in 2019 shall be withdrawn

Hanna Rizatdinova about offer to play for Russia, scores in RG, relationship with Russians and trainings
I was offered to play for Russia after Crimea (Hanna from Crimea). It was not even considered.
When I went to Rio, I objectively realized that I would fight for bronze. We understand that this bronze medal was also fought for by gymnast from Korea, who was training in Russia and who had already been promised this medal.
Even during Rio, we had little contact with Russians. For us, war started a long time ago. We were offended why we were not allowed to communicate with Russians, but somehow we always had this confrontation and we were taught - maximum greeting. It came to this, back in 2009. And after Crimea, what kind of communication? There was no communication at all.

At beginning of war, many gymnasts left for other countries and Irina Deriugina was bringing them back. She called parents and told them to come back to Ukraine because they are Ukrainian gymnasts, they are what they are today thanks to Ukrainian coaches. And there's an internal moment. For example, gymnast performs for Ukraine and gymnast performs for Italy, she will get more points for Ukraine. It matters what country you're from.

I can't say that everything is lite, we have strict coaches, but to be "introduced" to men - it never happened. We were even forbidden to communicate with men, if Irina Deriugina saw that someone gave you a ride or picking you up from training, it was a call to mom and dad.
We weren't allowed to go on vacation. My mom coach and she calls and asks: Can Annia go on vacation for a week? No, she can't, because every day - skip - step back, you want result - no vacation.

There should be some kind of course for athletes. When you leave gym where you spent 18 years, you don't know what to do, no one prepared you for normal life. I didn't even know how to open bank account.

On site of French Gymnastics Federation in national team section there are no 3 gymnasts from Paris team - Manelle Inaho, Ainoha Dot, Celia Joseph-Noel. Unfortunately, I couldn't find more accurate textual lineup of national team. We can say that Manelle has finished her career - on her page she is written down as ex-professional gymnast. There is no information about other two gymnasts

Many people have probably heard about scandal in Hungary. But since there were almost no specifics in article, I decided to wait. And now there is information that it's about wife of politician - Erika Deutsch-Lazsanyi (MTK Budapest) fits this description. She also fits description in article - there were already complaints about her in 2010.
Now, more on what she's being accused of now:
• Insults (using profanity) and use of physical force against gymnasts (like slapping 13 year old gymnast in 2013 or, she pulled ear so hard in 2019 that gymnast started bleeding)
• She threw half litre plastic water bottle, almost full, at an underage pupil. She threw mace or other things at several athletes ("Throwing hand tools at us was common")
• In an international competition, after dropping, she said to repeat throw 150 times to underage student. She only stopped when another coach saw what was happening, but by then little girl was sick and vomiting (According to several sources, this was "a favourite punishment for making her feel sick if she was spoiled, for up to two hours after a competition")
• Many other forms of physical impact
• Continuous weighing
• Offensive comments about weight of gymnasts
• Ignoring psychological state of gymnasts
• Ignoring complaints about physical state of gymnasts
• Threats

When I hit carpet, I was just crying because there was so much going on this year. It was just a very, very stressful year, so to speak. When it went well in end and I managed four clean exercises, I just let out all stress and emotions that were inside me, and was able to just enjoy moment.
World Championship Frankfurt - it’s a very, very big event for me. No matter where I am, I notice that a lot of people come to me and say «Yes, because of you and your whole team, I watched RG at Olympics for the first time and I find it unbelievable how great your sport is».
I’m not in top form right now; just doing my normal training. We’re trying new things with new rules and trying to make new exercises, we are already in next preparation phase and goals are already lined up.

At this point, my body could no longer stand pain of injury. In my Olympic year, I decided to have surgery on two of my legs to reshape them and increase my training. The last month before Olympics was so difficult..... Injury was getting worse, pain was intense, I tried to stay in training as long as possible, I did everything I could. With stress fracture of third metatarsal bone, I competed in my second Olympics.
It was a very difficult decision, I cried a lot ... I say goodbye to national team, but not to RG. I love to pass on my experience, to teach, to motivate..... But now, in a new reality.

With stress fracture of third metatarsal bone, I competed in my second Olympics.
It was a very difficult decision, I cried a lot ... I say goodbye to national team, but not to RG. I love to pass on my experience, to teach, to motivate..... But now, in a new reality.

We decided that we would start again to see how we feel and if we'd have same desire. We started training again, but I, personally for myself, do not have desire.
I'm taking make-up course at the moment and I'm really enjoying it. I'm thinking of opening my own salon.
