What many of my colleagues fail to realize is the omnibus spending bill _is_ the tax bill.

All money spent by government is money that will eventually be taken from people,

regardless of whether it’s collected through income tax, tariffs, corporate tax, fees, or inflation.

I just left the site of the Waco massacre. April 19, 1993 was one of the most shameful days in U.S. government history. 82 civilians and 4 agents died here needlessly. I was 22 years old when this happened. What was your wake-up call?

Yesterday I met with officials from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) at their headquarters in Huntington, West Virginia. The Huntington District of the USACE manages 311 miles of the Ohio River, part of which flows through Kentucky’s Fourth Congressional District.
