👀 How Ruben Amorim Could Set Up Man Utd:
Amorim may initially adapt to a back four upon joining, to align with the squad's current profiles and players, before transitioning to his preferred 3-4-3 (or 3-4-2-1) formation.

CBs: Must be comfortable on the ball and adept at breaking lines, crucial for build-up play.
LCB: Needs the flexibility to play wide or as a left-back at times (Shaw and Licha could fulfill this role).
Wingbacks: Amorim prefers to attack with five players, using wingbacks to stretch the pitch. Typically, one is more defensive and technical. Alphonso Davies would be an ideal signing here.

The Six: A defensive midfielder like Ugarte, strong in ball-winning and ground coverage.
The Eight: Mainoo could fit well here; Amorim’s ideal eight is proficient on the ball, capable of creating, playing direct passes, and feeding the attacking five. This player should also be able to crash the box to create overloads. Bruno Fernandes could also be deployed deeper in this role as he has done previously.

The Front Line: Hojlund could perform the Gyökeres role by running the channels.

Shadow ST: Potential for a dual-striker setup with Zirkzee and Hojlund together. Hojlund runs channel while Zirkzee operate more as a narrow forward/ shadow ST.

Narrow Front Three: Amorim often uses a narrow front three, where Rashford could slot as a LF between RB/RCB or Amad as a RF between LB/LCB. Will be interesting to see how Garnacho does.

Not spoke about Antony but generally think he would work better as a LWB than RF.
