A woman allegedly forced her husband to sell his kidney for ₹10 lakh, citing their financial troubles and later took the money and eloped with her lover in Sankrail in Howrah district. When the husband's family visited the woman, she reportedly told them, "I will be sending a divorce letter." The husband has filed a police complaint, reports News18.
