THIS not THAT stride pattern

Okay but first: Overstriding used to be my number one thing I would do incorrectly. 🤷‍♀️ I always had shin splints, my knees and hips would always be tight and in pain, and I was not running efficiently at all, I would get tired after 100 m. 😖😖😖

Now, it’s actually difficult for me to even attempt to overstride (I’m honestly not doing it very much in the video compared to younger me) 👏👏👏

This was such a huge change for my run! So incredibly important!

Adjustments for your running form ❤️👏

My original motivator for improving my running form has always been performance, I always have wanted to get better. 🤞
.
But something I’ve learned over the years of improvement is how much better I FEEL when I run. Yes, my times are improving, but the enjoyment of running is improving as well. Running feels smoother, easier, and it hurts a lot less!
.
Try making any of these necessary adjustments and see how it affects how you feel when you run! Hope it helps!

Now, I think that we all have a preference in how we hold our hands when we run: open, closed, like this 👌, but the one thing that is KEY??? They need to be LOOSE!!
.
Tight hand create tight limbs, tight limbs create short movements, short movement create slow times. Basically, if you give a mouse a cookie…
.
