When everyone thought PIxel 6 series was about to receive its final OS update at this point of time, Google announced to provide two more OS updates, which actually means updated vendor and security features that minimise the risk of data breach.

You guys will continue to see more update for the time being, but without the past we will never be where we are today. Here's the second archive for the Pixel 6 series, preserving the history of LineageOS 21 builds based on Android 14, as these builds won't be on the server forever like what Google has been doing.

For those who wanted to go back further, here we have LineageOS 20 archive for the Pixel 6 series. LineageOS 22.1 supports every Pixel device at launch
Just less than a year time, here comes LineageOS with Android 15 QPR1 officially released. Alongside the new Android version, the team also made two new apps: Twelve, a music app with Material You design in mind, and a PDF reader which is actually absent from AOSP since the first day.

If you owned a Google Pixel, the good news is, LineageOS currently provides support for all of the devices on the latest branch. Before the release, LineageOS build roster has a total of 214 devices, with an astonishing 192 devices on the predecessor branch. 128 devices got promoted with an addition of 4 new Pixel devices that were released this year are receiving Android 15 builds. At the same time, 22 devices on the oldest active branch got dropped off.

The sub-version will indicate which QPR you are currently on, so with Android 16 QPR2, that will be LineageOS 23.2, you get the idea. For more information, check the full blog here.

Google officially confirms the Pixel 6 series, Pixel 7 series, and Pixel Fold will get an additional 2 years of OS updates!

The company has updated a support page to mention that these Pixel phones are guaranteed 5 years of updates - including 5 years of OS and security updates - starting from when they went on sale.

This means the Pixel 6 series will get updates to Android 16 and Android 17, while the Pixel 7 series and Pixel Fold will get updates to Android 17 and Android 18.

A Google spokesperson said Android 16 DP1 is available for the Pixel 6 (+ Pro), which are no longer guaranteed to get Android OS updates! This is a good hint they’ll receive Android 16 anyways.

Alright lads, I'm back with another Magisk module that I need some beta testing on! I've been developing and testing on raven (Pixel 6 Pro), and I've already had great success with a cheetah (Pixel 7 Pro) tester.

What it should do:
- Everything should be faster, without poorly affecting temperatures or battery. Screen on time and battery idle time has actually drastically improved in our testing!

Conditions:
- Magisk is required. No ifs, ands or buts about it, KSU and other solutions simply lack the required frameworks to patch init services.
- Tensor G1 (6/6a/6Pro) or Tensor G2 (7/7a/7Pro)
- Android 15 with no derivatives from stock device tree layouts (i.e. hentaiOS/helluvaOS, Google stock, LineageOS, GrapheneOS, etc), preferably hentaiOS
- The capability to read the entirety of the README, and satisfy all of your questions before daring to install, let alone reinstall or uninstall it. I will laugh at you if you choose not to ask questions and continue haphazardly instead.
