We’re making great progress! ✅ Our production-ready testnet is nearly wrapped up, and we’ve officially moved into pre-production testing.

🔍 We hit some unexpected bumps with explorer database indexing, but our team worked through the issues, and everything is now running smoothly.

Good morning, SOULdiers,

The testnet is online and actively being used by our dev team for Production Validation, Stress Testing, and Penetration Testing.

✅ All fungibles and historical data have been parsed, checked, and verified.
⚙️ We are fine-tuning network communication pooling and addressing one small, intermittent staking issue.

Once resolved, we’ll be able to provide exact timings for the resumption of essential chain activities.

That said, we are very close! 🔥

Dear Souldiers,

As you may or may not be aware, we encountered a runtime issue with the legacy Phantasma codebase currently in production.

After three days of extensive analysis, our technical team concluded that instead of backporting a hotfix, the best path forward is to expedite the roll-out of the Phoenix update.

Turning Lemons into Lemonade 🍋

We had originally planned a slower rollout with a liveOps chain crossover. However, this unplanned outage presents an opportunity to pivot to a hard crossover, greatly speeding up the transition process.

🔹 Chain Upgrade Background

The Gen 4 chain code began in 2023, moved to full production in February 2024, and launched its first private testnet in September 2024—which has maintained uninterrupted uptime ever since.

Our new production-ready testnet (with the latest features and optimizations) has been launched and will be made public this week.

Bug Fixes & Adjustments: We’ll be monitoring closely and ironing out any kinks encountered from the first deployment.

Poltergeist Lite v1.3.0 has been published with ETH/BSC and NEO2 explorer links added to the ‘Account’ tab. This makes it easier for N2 claimers to find the right wallet to claim N2 SOUL.

We have also added an ‘Old seed to WIF’ tab in the settings for those returning after years away and who cannot log into their wallet because of an old seed. This will allow you to get the WIF code from your old seed. We recommend you upgrade and create a new wallet with a new seed and move funds from the old WIF

Main points from the latest AMA are that Wonderman is done and ready to go. The team are currently finishing the backend integration with Pavillion.

The pinball game in Wonderman is based on the iconic ‘Aztec’ pinball game from 1976 but the game mechanics from the original proved too difficult to play so the GOATi team have modded a reworking of the game to modernize and simplify it a bit. Look out for the weekly and monthly tournament leaderboards.

GOATi has built out a lot of 4th Gen blockchain tech for Phantasma and Pavillion. This tech has been in testnet and has been running with 100% stability since mid-September, capable of running thousands of transactions per second. Phantasma devs have access to this tech and are finalizing integration.

Those early community members that bought the 1K NFT will have the opportunity to purchase items, using their WNDR tokens, at a huge discount (near free) on game launch for buying creatures and breeding, as well as receiving FREE assets like land plots and items you can use in the village. Who doesn’t love FREE stuff?

Post the initial launch, the GOATi team will look at the possibilities of listing on more centralized exchanges or providing liquidity to DEX’s.

New website and branding for Phantasma is being worked on in tandem with this new 4th Gen blockchain tech.
