Ruler Island will be launching on OpenSea this month. A Ruler is your identity in the Peer metaverse and gives you access to the District, a special area in the metaverse for the RI collectors community.

This is the first of many metaverse experiences that can only be experienced on Peer's 3D Map—the most powerful map in the world.

hey fam, we're finally out - sorry for the wait!! this was a massive amount of work, but we're going to call this one version 4.1 since it's going to set for version 5. heres a quick summary:

🧧this year is a super duper lucky year so we've got super duper lucky Lunar New Year to send to your friends.

💘besides toasting to luck, we know that you've been waiting for a sign to declare your love to your crush on Valentine's Day so we got some extra emojis for that as well #peerthecupid

🔐we now have state of the art end-to-end message encryption so you can feel secure while chatting with your besties

💬 we updated the message notifications to show your friend's picture

😘we also took out the limit to send 50 emojis only — there are just too many things to be celebrated, can't afford that hehe

🐜we also got that funky bug that made user avatars repeating on the map fixed

ᨎ and for our lovely indonesian friends, using VPN is no longer required to load the map and other users on specific mobile networks in other parts of the world, i know right.. big slay!

In 2023, we've devoted all our resources to developing all the building blocks that's required to deliver all new experiences to our growing community. We are focused on virtual experiences on the map, virtual economies, world building, and gamification. As we've often shared in the chat, peer is not another location-sharing friends map. That's boring stuff. Nobody cares, nobody wants it. All the analogues floating out there is destined for doom. We are interested in the future. For that reason, we've bet heavily in the 3d maps. We believe Peer has the potential to bring the world into a new virtual expanse that can grow bigger than the internet itself. It's all going to happen on a worldwide virtual simulation. It's a dream come true, and we're looking to this coming year to deliver all of it. The wait is over, it's finally coming. You've done it, you've made it this far. Let's have some fun this year!
