It was always fun. Watching the infantry brag about themselves. But when it was 40° at night, raining for several days, they gather around our exhaust for warmth. Also, protip, if you put a can of ravioli back there, make sure you open it because it will explode. Speaking from experience. That shit is ripping hot. It has claimed a lot of plastic wet weather gear, boot soles, and velcro. But still the most comfortable place to be in the field. Max elevate the gun over the back deck and put a tarp over it like a tent and it will stay warm all night long without the tank running. Good sleep.
