🐙 Octies Dapp Update: “Octies Galaxy” NFT Collection and New Sections “Play2Earn” and “NFTs”

The “Octies Galaxy” NFT collection opens up new opportunities! Each owner of an NFT from this collection will receive a “Unique Pass,” which will allow them to farm special points in the upcoming “Play2Earn” game. Octies has created a unique NFT collection with a concept that no one has yet introduced within the TON ecosystem, ensuring the significance of each NFT through special mechanics.

🐙 Octies understood that the value of an NFT is determined by three components: its uniqueness, utility, and market conditions.

• Uniqueness: Octies has given each NFT owner the opportunity to create their own character, which will be completely different from any other in the collection, have its own rarity, and a unique origin story. To create your character, you simply need to submit an image of your favorite animal, cartoon character, hero from your favorite game, famous personality, or even your own photograph via a form that will be available after purchasing the NFT.

• Utility: Each NFT in the “Octies Galaxy” collection will be usable in the “Play2Earn” game, which will have no analogs in the TON ecosystem. Additionally, special mechanics will be introduced for using the “Unique Pass,” which will allow farming not only the basic points available to all users, but also unique rewards.

• Market Conditions: The focus here is on maintaining a high value for the NFTs. To this end, the smart contract was designed so that no one can list their NFT for sale for less than 20 TON. As a result, NFTs can only be sold for 4 times the price at which they were purchased. This mechanism ensures a stable minimum market price for the NFTs. As future sales are unlocked, the price of the NFTs will increase, along with the minimum sale threshold.

The first reptilian who sold their NFT “OCTIES KEY” made 2 TON for it, and after that event, other reptilians started selling their NFTs too, which eventually led to a sharp price drop. Octies wants to remind everyone that every NFT earned in the game unlocks some unique opportunity, and the NFT “OCTIES KEY” is no exception!

🐙 Issues with the smart contract. What was the problem, and how quickly was it resolved?

🐙 On August 31, at 12:32, several reptiloids were unable to mint the “OCTIES KEY” NFT due to an unexpectedly large influx into the “Octies” galaxy. Concerned, Octies immediately set to work fixing this unacceptable issue, which was intolerable for the reptiloid civilization and negatively impacted the “Octies” galaxy’s ambition to become #1 in the TON ecosystem.

🐙 Later that day, at 16:51 PM, the smart contract was fixed and functioning properly! The problem was that there were fewer “OCTIES KEY” NFTs available than there were reptiloids wanting to obtain them. Octies has now automated the verification of available NFTs for reptiloids and confidently assures that such issues will not occur again.

Currently, reptiloids are trading their “OCTIES KEY” NFTs on 🖼 getgems. Prices are fluctuating between 3.9 TON and 15 TON. It’s very interesting to see what the price of the “OCTIES KEY” NFTs will be when all of them have been minted! 🤔

At the moment, the statistics show 68/600 NFTs have been minted.
