At the Crossroads: Global Christianity, Mission, and Leadership

As the world undergoes unprecedented change, global Christianity finds itself at a crossroads.

This two-day seminar will delve into how the global Church can respond to current challenges and opportunities in mission work, focusing on leadership that adapts to diverse contexts and emerging trends.

Dr Todd Johnson, with two response speakers, Dr Lin Peirong and Dr Kwa Kiem Kiok, will explore the new paradigms of Christian mission and leadership that can empower mission movements, unite diverse communities, and further the global mission.

🌍 World Student Day 2024 🌏

Ever wondered why we pray? 🤔 Join students from across Singapore as we come together to reflect on the power and purpose of prayer, lifting up our voices in unity for nations, communities, and our fellow brothers and sisters in Christ. 🌍💖

This year’s WSD will center around the theme “Why We Pray,” with sharings and workshops that explore different types of prayers, the reasons behind them, and how we can pray meaningfully. We’ll also spend time praying together for others, uniting as a global community. 🙌

Why were letters so common in the New Testament? Letter writing is often said to be a lost art, but there's a reason why it is art to begin with!

This year, the Biblical Engagement Study Team (BEST) will be focusing on the genre of ✨EPISTLES✨! If you would like to find out more about epistles as a genre, (and perhaps even prepare yourself to read an epistle with us at our BEST Book Club 🫢) come join us at our Introduction to Epistles Workshop, run by Mr Hor Guo Yi of the Biblical Graduate School of Theology!

FT2: Theology of Witness 🌱🗣⚡️

"You are my witnesses," declares the Lord... (Isaiah 43:10)

...you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth. (Acts 1:8)

🫵 Fun fact: the Greek word for 'witness' is 'martus' — the root word of martyr, referencing those who died for their faith in Christ!

We may no longer be persecuted for our faith like the apostles once were. But what does the Bible say about witnessing? And how is that still relevant to our lives today — especially as university students?

Come to FT2 for a time of worship & teaching! May you be inspired to be a witness for Christ, just as He has called us to be 💫
