The main objective of the project is to shape up an approach and create a plan to migrate the present architecture to a new architecture that can not only retain the existing feature set, but also employ modern concepts (e.g., cloud services, microservices, etc.) in order to achieve better modularity, scalability, and other relevant industry-common benefits. The modernization will
happen alongside codebase migration from Progress-based solutions to Java-based ones.

Requirements

• Intermediate+ English
• Solid 4+ years of experience in Java development
• Good knowledge of Java 11+, Spring Boot and JUnit testing framework
• Good understanding of REST API and Development Patterns
• Knowledge and hands on experience with Boomi
• Experience with Kafka and Apache Spark
• Good written and verbal communication skills

Nice to have

• Experience with Cassandra will be beneficial
• Knowledge of Mulesoft is a huge plus

Requirements

• Intermediate+ English
• Strong communication and prioritization skills
• Minimum of 6+ years experience in software engineering, design, and development
• Experience with Python and solid understanding of object-oriented and functional methodologies
• Experience building REST services
• Experience building data pipelines with distributed large scale data processing engines, such as Apache Spark or Hadoop (Spark preferred)
• Experience delivering cloud-based software solutions. Azure is a plus (Lambdas/Functions, APIs, SQL, and Cosmos DB, events management system)
