The European premiere of the play “Man with No Name,” one of the last productions created within the walls of Moscow’s Gogol Center, will take place on theatrical stages in Tallinn, Berlin, Duisburg, Frankfurt, and other European cities.
The creators of the play are Kirill Serebrennikov, Nikita Kukushkin, Peter Aidu, and Alexander Barmenkov.
Composer Peter Aidu specially designed a unique instrument for the play called the “Pangharmonicon.” This instrument consists of ten reconstructed pianos capable of playing music almost entirely without human involvement.
The protagonist, played by Nikita Kukushkin, undergoes a series of transformations, akin to a wandering soul from the Tibetan Book of the Dead. He moves from a subway car into the past, to Beethoven’s era, or to a future yet to come, the contours of which are already beginning to emerge in the present.

Европейская премьера спектакля «Человека без имени», одного из последних спектаклей, созданных в стенах московского «Гоголь-Центра», состоится на театральных площадках Таллина, Берлина, Дуйсбурга, Франкфурта и других городов Европы.
Авторы спектакля - Кирилл Серебренников, Никита Кукушкин, Петр Айду и Александр Барменков.
