Hi everyone :) I’m Niklas, and I handle marketing for Niagara Launcher. We’re looking for someone to help us create awesome visuals and support us with design work on a project basis!
Ideally, you’re skilled in the Adobe Suite (Photoshop, After Effects, Premiere) and possibly a 3D modeling tool like Blender. Good knowledge about Niagara Launcher is also a big plus.

The font settings now include a font size option that allows scaling text in the launcher independently of the system font settings. It can be used to increase or decrease the text size by the chosen percentage.

📣 Survey on Issues with Third-Party Launchers on Android
Our friends at Smart Launcher created a short survey on issues affecting third-party launchers. The results of this survey will be used to provide valuable feedback to the Android team and will hopefully lead to an improved experience in Niagara Launcher. You can participate here.

Niagara Launcher v1.12.8 · Ready for Android 15?

In 1.12.7, we accidentally declared a permission that is not currently used in the public release. Thus, 1.12.8 removes this permission again. There are otherwise no user-facing changes in this release. See the original changelog for 1.12.7 below.

🚀 Support new features introduced in Android 15
• Private Space: find apps from your private space in a new section and unlock or lock the private space directly from Niagara Launcher. The private space feature introduced in Android 15 allows users to keep sensitive apps in a separate space with additional authentication. You can set up your private space in Android's system settings on Android 15.
• App Archiving: archived apps are greyed out and have a neat “cloud” badge to show that they need to be restored before using them again. Archiving apps allows freeing storage from unused apps without losing their data. To archive apps on Android 15, go to an app's app info and click “archive” (only user-installed apps are supported).

While working on the new features for Android 15, we stumbled upon several incompatibilities between Android and third-party launchers such as Niagara Launcher. Since we cannot fix these, we have reported them on the official Google issue tracker. Please upvote the issues linked in our help page to increase their priority and hopefully have them fixed soon.
