I been here for a while already because I just love the game. I am loving the pursuit of mastery that is all that matters to me. There is non attachment to outcome, I just do to figure something out - every outcome (eg. Failure) is appreciated.
I believe Self Mastery is supposed to be every humans ultimate goal in life.
Seneca said, βAs long as you live, keep learning how to live,β he was emphasising that the process of learning about ourselves, others, and the world never ends. Your mind should constantly be ready for new knowledge and experiences, for there is no limit to the amount of wisdom we can attain.
Talking about self mastery, Trading acts as the perfect mirror πͺ
If you doubt trading or yourself and whether you have what it takes that means exactly one thing: You no longer want to see what you see in the mirror. You are trying to hide from yourself and that is what you should never ever do.
Embrace the dark, unpleasant, repressed feelings about yourself. Hidden in them lies all the wisdom.
Carl Jung said βThe shadow is ninety percent pure gold.β
We think we'll only find darkness there. But underneath the refuse, underneath the repressions, there are veins of gold.
Trading acts as a mirror, itβs the best teacher I could have asked for to get to know more about myself. Trading shows me every flaw and weakness of character that I possess. Imagine youβre driven by getting to know theseβ¦ who could possibly stop you?
