EXCLUSIVE: Per senior DHS source, since February 1st, the number of known gotaways at the southern border has plummeted to a daily average of just 132. That's a 93% decrease from the highs of the Biden admin in FY'2023, when the daily average was 1,800+ known gotaways per day.

Reminder: The Biden admin recorded a staggering 670,674 known gotaways in fiscal year 2023 alone, according to data I obtained from CBP via a FOIA request last year. Thats an average of 1,800+ per day.
Trump’s current average of 132 per day, assuming it held, would be about 48,000 in a year. That would be the lowest number, by far, in at least 15 years.
Still very early into this new Trump admin, but a snapshot of where we are right now.

Statement to FOX from senior DHS source:

“Delivering consequences has results. Illegal crossings are down, gotaways are down. Criminal prosecutions are on the rise. Daily reports of large groups in Mexico, Guatemala, turning back south and surrounding to authorities requesting to go home and we have only just begun. Policy matters.”

The judges blocking President Trump's agenda with sweeping nationwide injunctions include Judge Angel Kelly, who says the American judicial system is filled with systemic racism, took part in a judicial exchange program with Communist China, and said a police officer could be suspended for criticizing George Floyd.

Another, Judge Colleen Kollar-Kotelly, sentenced a peaceful 75-year-old pro-life activist to two years in prison, then mocked her when the women's husband asked for leniency based on her poor health. "Make every effort to remain alive, because that's part of the tenets of your religion," she said.

We will not let this administration be derailed by the agenda of a handful of extremists who think a gavel lets them override a democratic election.

BREAKING! Multiple FEMA employees fired over 'egregious' payments for migrants, DHS says.

The Department of Homeland Security told Fox News that "four employees are being fired today for circumventing leadership and unilaterally making the egregious payment for hotels for migrants in New York City."

The firings come after Elon Musk wrote on X Monday that "The DOGE team just discovered that FEMA sent $59M LAST WEEK to luxury hotels in New York City to house illegal migrants." 

"Sending this money violated the law and is in gross insubordination to the President’s executive order," Musk added. "That money is meant for American disaster relief and instead is being spent on high end hotels for illegals!"  

"A clawback demand will be made today to recoup those funds," he added.

BREAKING: The Trump admin is seeking to deputize IRS agents to carry out illegal immigration enforcement with ICE in the U.S. interior. In a letter to Treasury Sec. Scott Bessent, DHS Sec. @KristiNoem writes that IRS agents are needed to assist w/ apprehension & removal of illegal aliens. A senior DHS official tells me they expect the request to be granted.

It reads in part:

“It is DHS's understanding that the Department of the Treasury has qualified law enforcement personnel available to assist with immigration enforcement, especially in light of recent increases to the Internal Revenue Service's work force and budget. U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), a DHS component, has the following needs…”

And:

"This letter requests that you make qualified officials from the Department of the Treasury available to work with ICE and that you consent to those officials being deputized to perform immigration functions pursuant to 8 U.S.C. § 1103(a)(6)."

NEW: FBI Director Wray and DHS Secretary Mayorkas have just refused to testify before the Senate regarding threats to our national security, border vulnerabilities.

Committee Chairman Gary Peters said Mayorkas and Wray's refusal to appear is a "shocking departure" from the 15-year tradition of holding the annual hearing on worldwide threats. In a statement to Fox News Digital, the FBI argued that Wray and other officials have already "testified extensively" in public about threats facing the U.S., and that the bureau "has repeatedly demonstrated our commitment to responding to Congressional oversight and being transparent with the American people."

North Korean leader Kim Jong-un called for expanding the country's nuclear forces "without limitation" amid rising tensions.

BREAKING! Oklahoma is launching a pilot program to turn over illegal aliens in prison to federal police to jump-start President-elect Donald Trump‘s mass deportation effort.

Gov. Kevin Stitt (R-OK) shared with the Washington Examiner on Friday that he had a plan to expeditiously deport more than 500 convicted illegal migrants in its prisons as soon as Trump takes office in January 2025.

“We want to be the first state that works with President Trump,” Stitt said in a phone call.

The effort could reduce the amount of money needed to house illegal aliens in prison by more than $1 million per month if all 526 inmates were handed over to ICE.

Louisiana: The northbound lanes of the Causeway Bridge over Lake Pontchartrain were closed after a "serious incident" on Saturday morning.

Photos and video posted on social media showed flames and a plume of billowing black smoke rising into the air as motorists stood outside of their motionless vehicles and watched. 

The Causeway Commission issued the alert just before 11:40 a.m. and provided no other details, other than to say that the closure is estimated to last about an hour.
