👋 Hey, @Alph4 here.

If you're part of the modding community, you may be aware of the recent issues with Google Play Integrity.

Google is using this project to exclude custom ROMs from accessing certain functionalities and applications, under the pretext of security. However, we all know that a device updated to Android 15 by the community is often more secure than a device running Android 11 with outdated security patches abandoned by the manufacturer.

The primary issue with this situation is clear: it's a monopolistic practice by Google to maintain its dominant position in the Android ecosystem.

Interestingly, the European Union is already aware of this. While not currently a top priority, the EU is treating this situation as supplementary information for ongoing investigations into Google's monopolistic practices.

As a European citizen, I dream of gathering a group of passionate individuals, collecting testimonials and signatures to demonstrate to the EU how crucial this issue is to us.

If you want to support this cause, please join @fuckgoogleint and sign the petition:

and honestly I tried to find ways to bypass strong integrity, hiding mechanisms, spoof unlocked bootloader and related stuff, man o man, there are so many modules and methods, it can get really overwhelming, it's hard to keep track.

and honestly I don't enough time or energy to keep up with this, I can bet same case with everyone who are busy professionally. that's why I switched to this: get a very low end but recent secondary device from a reputed brand and use your secure apps ( banking and other) in there (if you can afford and dont mind carrying a secondary device).

The custom rom thing is seeing the dying light anyway. Google is fudging around, Xiomi getting 10x strict with unlocking, other brands are almost impossible to unlock properly and more pro devs are leaving this scene anyway.

So may be it's time you as well get used to it.

The good old days or unlocking and customising your device is almost over (maybe).

Here's a very detailed guide to bypass strong integrity if you don't care about font modules and other stuffs but still want to use banking and other apps that depend on play integrity and spoofing root detection:

still working (at least for me in custom ROMS): if you don't use extra hiding mechanisms, like shamiko.
simple zygisk hide is working without breaking anything. I use the regular Play Integrity module to bypass basic integrity, works for basic apps without much troubles.

I don't use banking apps that detects roots no matter what hiding mechanisms you use, tbh it's been a severe headache and seems like google won't users to enjoy custom rom experience like the good ol' days.

Due to recent 'root hiding' efforts to bypass integrity since android 12, magisk started evolving and recent android updates made it almost impossible to use font modules without breaking things in ROM and apps. Unless some 'pro dev' comes along, i am guessing, the font module will stop working very soon for latest ROMs.

There was already a petition in EU court, they already received complaints about Play Integrity. But due to insufficient resources they set priorities and said that will keep that in mind while investigating about other violations. We will start complaining too, after gathering some signatures in the change.org petition, so they can't put this as low priority.

Android 15 users are recommended to try our recently updated MFFM 11/12 modules. (And to mention, MFFM template powered modules are still discontinued, this is just an experimental update) Till OMF environment updates, these modules can serve as a source of alternative choices.

Also post in the group if they work for your ROM/Root environment. (Recommended to use Magisk Alpha, as Magisk beta [27 and below] is recently exposed as exploitable)
