Memang susah kalau hati kita terguris dengan parents, terutama sebab kita sayang dan hormat mereka. Tapi perasaan tu normal, dan kadang-kadang kita perlu ruang untuk menguruskan emosi.

Beberapa perkara yang mungkin boleh bantu diri kita :

1. Luahkan perasaan - Kalau kita ada seseorang yang dipercayai, macam kawan rapat atau saudara, boleh cuba luahkan apa yang terasa. Kadang-kadang bila kita bercakap, kita boleh nampak situasi dari sudut yang lebih jelas.

2. Jarakkan diri sementara - Kalau boleh, ambil masa untuk tenangkan diri sebelum bertindak. Ini boleh elakkan kita buat keputusan yang mungkin disesali nanti. Tenangkan diri dengan buat aktiviti yang kita suka atau tenangkan hati macam dengar lagu atau baca buku.


3. Cuba lihat dari perspektif mereka - Mungkin parents ada sebab tersendiri kenapa mereka cakap atau buat sesuatu yang buat kita terasa. Kadang-kadang, mereka juga ada tekanan yang kita tak nampak.


4. Cuba berbincang dengan lembut - Bila dah rasa tenang, kalau kita rasa perlu, cuba luahkan perasaan kita pada mereka dengan cara yang penuh hormat. Terangkan apa yang kita rasa tanpa menyalahkan mereka. Boleh cakap macam, "Ma, Pa, saya rasa... bila perkara tu jadi," dengan lembut dan jelas.


5. Berdoa dan serahkan pada Tuhan - Kita tak mampu kawal semua perkara, tapi kita boleh berdoa minta hati kita tenang dan diberi jalan terbaik untuk memahami. Kadang-kadang, masa akan bantu kita sembuhkan perasaan terluka tu.

Paling penting, beri ruang pada diri sendiri untuk rasa dan faham perasaan tu, tapi jangan biarkan ia berlarutan hingga buat hubungan renggang.

1. Tetapkan Waktu Tidur dan Bangun yang Konsisten
Cuba tidur dan bangun pada waktu yang sama setiap hari, termasuk hujung minggu. Ini dapat melatih tubuh untuk tidur lebih cepat.


2. Elak Kafein dan Gula Sebelum Tidur
