Important Poisoning:
1. Arsenic : strawberry stomach, diarrhea, raindrop pigmentation, aldrich mees lines
Antidote: ferrous hydroxide
2.Thallium: alopecia+ neuropathy+ diarrhea
Antidote: Prussian blue chelation
3.Cocaine: CPR(coma + pin point pupil+ resp depression)
Antidote: Nalaxone
4.Strychnous: arched body+ involuntary muscle contraction
Antidote: no antidote
5. Opium-
Pinpoint pupils, shallow breathing, Bradycardia, Hypotension, Cold calm cyanosed skin, Unconsciousness, Convulsions, Coma and death
Rx- Naloxone IV
6. Signs of withdrawal - (FILMYDANCS): Fever, Insomnia, Lacrimation, Mydriasis, Yawning, Diarrhea, Abdominal pain, Nausea, Cravings, Sweating
