My article published today in “Sakal” highlights the pressing national security challenges facing Modi 3.0. The rising instances of terror attacks in Jammu and Kashmir and the victory of pro-separatist candidates in recent elections indicate that terrorism in J&K is far from eradicated. In the coming years, terrorism in J&K and Punjab will pose a serious challenge to the government, necessitating a comprehensive strategy to address this issue.

In a significant development last week, the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) silently repatriated 100 tonnes of gold from the UK. This marks significant progress since the financial crisis of 1991, when India had to urgently export gold to manage the balance of payments situation. Many countries traditionally store their gold in vaults such as those of the Bank of England, incurring storage fees. By bringing this gold back, we will now retain most of our gold reserves within our own vaults. My take on this issue….
