WAEC has assured the public that, the mode of assessment for the WASSCE will be the stamine score as used to grade the BECE 2024.

You’re informed that WAEC is still using the Criterion Reference Test Assessment.

This means that Wassce 2024 Grading system remains unchanged.

A1 (Excellent): 75-100%

B2 (Very Good): 70-74%

B3 (Good): 65-69%

C4 (Credit): 60-64%

C5 (Credit): 55-59%


C6 (Credit): 50-54%

D7 (Pass): 45-49%

E8 (Pass): 40-44%

F9 (Fail): Below 40%

BECE 2024 WITHHELD RESULTS
The underlisted candidates, who took part in the Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) for School and Private Candidates, 2024 and had their results withheld due to alleged involvement in examination irregularities are kindly invited to the WAEC Regional Offices where they wrote the examination on the assigned dates indicated by their names. They are to be accompanied by their parents/guardians.

Candidates are hereby informed that their refusal to honor this invitation shall not preclude the council from making a final determination on the cases. The candidates are further informed to come along with their parents/guardians.

The management of the West African
Examinations Council (WAEC) has announced that the provisional results of students who sat for the
2024 WASSCE for School will be released between December 9 and December 15, 2024.
A spokesperson for the not-for-profit organization, John Kapi, said in an interview monitored by the marking of the WASSCE for School scripts is expected to end on
November 29. 2024.
