Ms. Mary Gorette is a reverent figure and a permanent fixture for KVC due to her wisdom, vast experience, judgment skills and informed approach in resolving conflicts and maintaining order. Major Bibiana Paulus is a peerless educator who commands a legion of acolytes. She alone has won a myriad of medals as an athlete competing in multiple sports team & athletics meets. ๐Ÿซก๐Ÿ˜Ž

She has cemented herself as an unsurpassed figure for breaking glass ceiling. Singularly holding her own along with her close associates, she has spearheaded numerous undertakings; leading our softball team for over a decade to multitude of victories including national level triumphs, coaching our performance troupes comprising theatre casts, choir vocalists & music bands in a myriad of occasions & contests & her latest endeavour, transforming her cosmetology students to be avant garde makeup artists.  Her volunteerism in aiding others made her a multitalented stature at KVC. We thank her for paving the way. ๐ŸŒน๐Ÿ”ฅโค๏ธ

One of her biggest feats was when she became the first woman to anchor a teacher's men's  4 X 100 metres relay years ago. That was first in history. It denotes her courage in breaking gender barriers for real. ๐Ÿซก๐Ÿซถ

Mr. Azme Budiman, our head of Welding Technology programme, is vehement in his mission to elevate the Welding Technology programme to excel in everything and ultimately, the best program ever. We must say he is succeeding!!! Hence this recognition. ๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿ”ฅ

The Welding Technology students are gaining  their momentum with the sudden increase in their participation in innovation contests which has earned them several medals including a gold medal this year. They also have volunteered to assist with some of the major repair and restoration work. In addition, the teachers themselves have shown exemplary professional growth comprising their grasp in tech savviness and scholarly disciplines.๐ŸŒน๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿ’ช

Judging by their speed, they are likely going to challenge Construction Technology! Finally, no programme has even dared to try doing so but Welding Technology isn't going to make it easy for our indomitable civil engineers to retain their top spot. Nonetheless, Ms. Tracylora Anip is energising our students to be more engaged in physical education by introducing traditional games, outdoor challenges and physical activities involving a lot of teamwork, quick thinking and stamina with some twists. An avid scuba diver, Ms. Dayang Siti Khatijah is clearly someone who is bold enough to explore the unknown & acquire  any prerequisite skills in her quest for more discoveries. She isn't just a very dedicated, driven and determined person, she's also forward-thinking, highly proactive, highly reliable & a quick learner who keeps absorbing everything she is thrown into in no time & emerges out of it as a master. She is also at the final stage of her Master's Degree study. ๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿ”ฅ

For nearly 2 decades, our rugby's team is known for its dominion in Sabah sporting landscape with KVC itself known as the epicenter of this team sport. As the baton passed from one teacher coach to another, the pressure to retain its supremacy is higher than before. Mr. Alief a menacing sportsman himself, along with his team, took up the challenge and delivered. Our rugby teams, men & women, have been on winning streaks from SUKOV to MSSD and some of our players won Sabah Games in both gender categories.๐Ÿซถ๐ŸŒŸ๐Ÿ†

In a fast-paced world of hustle and hecticness that makes us feel drained & stretched, most people will barely volunteer to have a fair share of mundane humdrum additional workload. This is totally understandable since people tend to take advantage of those who appear to be meek and goody goody. However, that's not the case with Ms. Ela, she is super efficient in doing her work yet she always, in her most admirable manner,  offers her help even in areas that are not under her purview. In her own assigned task alone, she already took over half of the workload. This lady is just amazing! ๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿ”ฅ

Mr Ela is a modern day healer. The type of person who heals not just by their willingness to help alleviating the work burden in a major way but also the one whose words and manners just soothe your heart. May God bless her and her loved ones.๐Ÿคฒ๐Ÿซถ

Ashraf Daniel Anuar has been always a prominent face in every college event moreso a huge one like the recent distinguished function but for some unforeseen reasons, he wasn't there! Where did he go? Where was he? ๐Ÿ˜ฑ

He was spotted briefly sitting at the table designated for the dignitaries to sign the visitors' book, flipping through the pages but since no one seemed to bother about him (everyone was busy), he left. On 21st November 2024, a hybrid lesson on language behaviour was conducted by an Indonesian professor from PBI STKIP PGRI as part of our collaborative undertaking with the institution. The participants received certificates issued by the host as in PBI STKIP PGRI.๐Ÿ‘

Still seething in frustration with the annulled administrators' 4 x 50 metres relay race at 2024 PESKOV, Mr. Roslee Awang turned to table tennis & vowed to redeem his this year's performance with a medal in that discipline in 2025. ๐Ÿ˜Ž๐Ÿ’ช

Rumour has it that Mr. Roslee Awang and the rest of his relay quartet was supposed to have a podium finish at the race but word got out that one team was suspected to have breached the basic rules of fielding only two men and two women from each college's administration. Consequently, Mr. Sadzul Adun @ Hamzasin, the athletics chief judge, was said to have arbitrarily annulled the results and left the medal rankings void with zilch recipients. This has devastated the participating athletes including Mr. Roslee who was aiming to medal. ๐Ÿ™

Taking out his disillusionment on the table tennis, he swore to return to 2025 PESKOV with revenge and redemption and certainly, a medal in which gold is the most preferred. Let's wish him the best. ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿ”ฅ

Gosh! What a voice! Was this an intended gag joke? Perhaps an intermittent comedy show maybe not to entertain but rather to pressure the contestants further as part of the challenge. This got to be the least tolerable ever!  ๐Ÿ˜ฑ

Mr. Vitalis has been a permanent fixture of KVC, he might be quiet and quick that you only see a flash of him passing through but his work was discernible especially in every science experiment you did and science class you attended. ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿซถ

4th November 2024 marked his last day at KVC as an official staff member. He will always be cherished and remembered and most importantly, this is just a beginning of a new phase in life for him. ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿฅฐโค๏ธ

Our trio of young gourmets paid homage to our unswerving farmers, fishermen & ranchers with their revival of our traditional food from time immemorial. And they won third place too!!! Congratulations! ๐Ÿฅ‰๐Ÿ’๐Ÿ’๐Ÿ’

We extend our felicitations to Danial Jauhari, Adam Razif and Fitri Shawalelyas from Culinary Arts for coming in third at the cooking contest of group category in conjunction with Farmers, Ranchers & Fishermen Day at SICC, Kota Kinabalu, on 2nd November 2024. They were chaperoned by the Head of Culinary Arts programme, Ms. Kimberly V. Usit. ๐Ÿคฉ๐ŸŒน๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ”ฅ

As rhapsodized by Danial Jauhari (2024), the main course was a platter of Linongot served alongside  Kerabu Lemiding & Tilapia mousse laden with Tuhau sauce, garnished with crispy skin chips, a modicum of carrot and cucumber pickle further elevated the dish. To tickle your taste buds before digging in, the appetizer was seaweed salad fresh spring rolls with mango green sauce. Oh my, this surely will make us drool. ๐Ÿ˜‹๐Ÿ˜‹๐Ÿ˜‹

We thank the spectacular singular actors of KL Shakespeare Players for performing their last hybrid theatre at KVC while giving us a lot of takeaway and insight on how to improve our English and acting skills. ๐Ÿคฉ๐ŸŒน๐Ÿ‘

From making a medieval royal announcement to passing whispers of secrets which culminated in the performance of a radio play (performance merely via voice), it expanded our view on how language learning can be further made more rigorous with practical elements while bolstering our ability in modulating out voice. They are simply the best! ๐Ÿคฉ๐ŸŒน๐Ÿ‘

We also extend our appreciation to the participating students who displayed commitment as the audience of the theatre and trainees for the workshop. The teachers too for their assistance. It's a blessing to have KL Shakespeare Players' founders to do this for us. ๐Ÿคฉ๐ŸŒน๐Ÿ‘

A learning curve and a folktale re-enactment held back to back by KL Shakespeare Players for our Early Childhood Education students on 17th October 2024. ๐Ÿคฉ๐ŸŒน๐Ÿ‘

Travelling from KL to Sabah for a touring show at schools in Kota Kinabalu, Kota Belud & Keningau, KVC was their last stop for a hybrid theatre performance on a Bajau-sama folktale followed by an exclusive workshop for our students to polish their acting skills. There were three actors; Mr. Soon Heng, Mr. Kien Lee & Ms. Emelly Thomas. ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿ†

It was an honor to host an elite theatre troupe whose vast experience and acting repertoire were unsurpassed especially with a great rendition of a Sabah folktale. We thank the Early Childhood Education teachers and the student committee for making this a reality.๐ŸŒŸ๐ŸŒน๐Ÿ‘
