☹️ This year was a price increase for subscriptions. It was tough at first to watch subscriber numbers drop and then see no growth. However, overall, the app is growing across all metrics, so there’s no reason to complain 😏

🦾 Things are looking up now, which means all the work done this year wasn’t in vain. Over the past year, there were many fixes, lots of AI features, and numerous implementations of your suggestions.

📆 Next year, I’ll keep working on your ideas. Updates for iOS are definitely coming. I can’t promise how many, but they’re definitely on the way - and very soon.

I have not yet been able to get Meta Llama to be translated properly, and Mistral pours a lot of water and its own explanations into each translation that this is all inaccurate and it is better to turn to professional translators. Here you can find the top AI models at the moment according to Elo rating.

All AI services in the application have the same capabilities that ChatGPT had. You can try and compare for yourself. Same buttons - different results. According to first impressions, Claude and Gemini are more talkative and add more of their own explanations to the contextual translation. All AIs work quite quickly. I especially ask you to try it and write about the results for those who read something other than English. I don’t know what languages these networks support and what it all looks like if it’s not in English, but there are definitely fewer languages than gpt.

🫨 In case you missed it, on May 13 OpenAI demonstrated the capabilities of the new GPT-4o model. Since that day, Smart Book uses this new model for all GPT-4 queries. According to many estimates, this is now the best AI model on the market.
