NFP today. Wait for the price to go where they want to take it, look for a clean set up, then enter the markets if you wish to trade. The most amount of money and accounts are blown during FOMC and NFP because traders are trying to capture the volume driven candles with large lots. This is not trading, this is gambling! Tonight the casino is open, the drinks are free to entice you, only you can have that discipline to sit and wait patiently for the right moment

Red Box indicators:

Many of us sit and wait for the perfect entry, I can tell you, unless you're scalping, this hardly ever happens. The key to get an entry is identifying your target region first! Once you have identified that target region, then start looking not for a precise entry, but a region or a zone you want to be testing your entry in. The skill is not getting in too early, and if you get in too late, you're usually going to be the wrong side of the market. So, use the bias and the red boxes, bullish/bearish above/below. Most new traders struggle with basic support and resistance or identifying zones; hence theyโ€™ll usually enter the market at the wrong time and place. This is where red boxes are really helpful, you can use them to identify key regions if youโ€™re scalping or use the higher or lower ones for day trading and managing trades in-between.

KOGโ€™s Red boxes are part of our strategy and are added to our targets to further fine tune our entries and exits. We also use them combined with our hotspots and Excalibur/LiTE targets to keep us in the right direction of the markets, allowing us to trade between the levels, scalp in ranges or in low volume periods as well as identify possible turning points on the pair weโ€™re trading.

What a week! Look at the Gold trades alone, the pip capture is out of this world, the indicators and EA performed with the EA hitting 100% for the week. It averages 95% hit rate. Want to learn and be given the tools to stand on your own feet, the doors to Camelot are open.

Trading becomes easy over time but running a group like this and making sure the analysis is always up to date across so many different pairs, tracking the algo, drawing charts, answering questions is quite time consuming and demanding. Try to get in to the habit of scanning the charts, when one pair doesn't look good, leave it alone, move on to something else. You're not here to push your ego's on to the market, you won't win, you'll be writing cheques your backside can't cash. Find a pair with a good set up, apply the tools, your strategy, the risk that is needed and be done for the day. That's target number 21 for the week so far, done and dusted.

Pre-event price action:

Trend within trends on the smaller timeframes

Patterns that conflict each other - You may get a H&S but with that is a double bottom for example. They do this intentionally to get traders committed to the wrong direction

Ranging price staying close to short term MA's

Swings and spikes all of a sudden - This is a stop loss hunter activation taking liquidity from the high and low of a potential range

Ask yourself these questions:

Do I understand intra-day levels?
Do I understand pre-event price action?
Do I understand trading with ranges and price accumulation?
Do I have a risk model that protects me and my account no matter where the price goes?
