On December 31, I had the chance to interact with officer trainees of Uttarakhand Public Services during the 15th Foundation Course at the Dr. R.S. Tolia Uttarakhand Academy of Administration, Nainital.
The session on โLeading with Emotional Intelligenceโ was all about practical learning. Together, we explored how empathy, self-awareness, and emotional intelligence can help tackle real-world challenges in leadership.
It was truly rewarding to contribute to their journey as future leaders. A meaningful way to close the year!

Who are we?
Plutarchโs thought experiment known as โthe Ship of Theseusโ uses an Ancient Greek analogy to explain the metamorphosis of human identity.
In this story, Theseus โ the founder-king of Athens โ sailed triumphantly back to the great city after slaying the mythic Minotaur of Crete. During the journey his ship needed extensive repairs. Gradually, every part of the vessel was replaced with a new part and by the time the he completed the voyage nothing of the original ship remained.
Do you think it was the same ship that started and ended the journey or was it a different one?
