The Tamil Students' Committee of University of Sri Jayewardenepura, successfully hosted Sangamam 2024 at Bandaranaike Hall on November 4, with Senior Professor Mounaguru gracing the event as Chief Guest. The program offered a rich showcase of Tamil culture through an array of artistic performances, as well as hosting the official launching of the committee’s first magazine, "Pahhuruli".
The Mahapola scholarship certificates for students admitted in the 2021/2022 academic year are now available. Scholarship recipients are requested to collect their certificates from their respective faculties by November 27, 2024. Only those who have signed and accepted the Mahapola Scholarship Certificate will be eligible to continue receiving scholarship payments in the future.
Please note that students who do not collect and accept their certificate by the deadline will have their scholarship payments suspended, as per the Mahapola Trust Fund's regulations.

In alignment with World Health Organization recommendations, the Medical Center of the University of Sri Jayewardenepura will conduct a measles vaccination program for undergraduates between the ages of 20 and 30 on November 22, 2024.
