We are hiring for the position of Executive/Senior Executive โ Process Quality at Blue Star Climatech Limited, a leading air conditioning manufacturing company.
Position Details
Designation: Executive/Senior Executive โ Process Quality
Educational Qualification:
Essential: B.E./B.Tech. or Diploma in Mechanical, Production or Industrial Engineering from a State/Government-recognized University.
Main Responsibilities
1. Product and Process Quality:
Conduct inspections for the quality of incoming components, in-process quality improvements, and final product quality assurance.
Perform internal quality audits within and across plants, including product and system audits.
Prepare Quality Assurance Plans (QAP) for products and oversee third-party/customer inspections.
2. Quality Culture :
Learn and implement Six Sigma methodology and tools/techniques such as APQP, PPAP, FMEA, and 7 QC Tools.
Support vendor development processes and manage product certifications like โCEโ and โUL.โ
3. Participation and Driving Initiatives:
Actively contribute to initiatives like PPM (Parts Per Million) reduction.
Drive the implementation of 7 QC tools, Kaizen, and Pokayoke.
Participate in Continuous Improvement Projects and Design Review Processes for new products.
4. Continual Improvement:
Analyze vendor quality issues and coordinate corrective and preventive actions.
Collaborate with New Product Development and Manufacturing Engineering departments to drive technical improvements in processes.
5. Field Feedback and Customer Support:
Address customer feedback and ensure corrective actions through quality improvement projects.
Assist the Quality Head in managing and resolving customer quality complaints.
What Weโre Looking For:
Hands-on experience in process quality improvement, audits, and quality assurance practices.
Strong knowledge of Six Sigma, APQP, PPAP, FMEA, and 7 QC tools.
Ability to handle third-party/customer inspections and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to quality management.
