Why Satan Can’t Stop God’s Plan For You

Revelation 12

Father, thank You.

Oh, wow. Just wow.

Lord, I pray that You'll take this now to the next level by the Holy Spirit.

Because we're all prone to just kind of leave it here, not take it with us, and then become guilty, as James says, of being merely hearers of Your word and not doers.

And like You said, Jesus, recorded in Matthew 7 about the parable of the two builders and the one whose house was built on the rock didn't crash down as the one built on the sand.

And the only difference between the two were that the one built on the rock was built by somebody that put, the builder put Your words into practice.

In other words, he was a doer of Your word.

And that was all the difference.

And I pray, God, that we would be doers of Your word, take heed to Your word because You have our best interests at heart.

You want to protect us.

Sometimes You want to protect us from ourselves.

You protect us from the enemy for sure.

But sometimes the enemy is us.

Lord, I pray that You’ll do that work that will take this with us and give the Holy Spirit unfettered access to our hearts.

LIES THAT WILL SEND YOU TO HELL👇

THERE IS NO HELL

If you start to ponder what comes after this life, Satan may try to convince you that there is nothing to worry about. God says otherwise: "Fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul; but fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell". (Matthew 10 :28).

EVERYONE GOES TO HEAVEN

Another much-believed lie is that no people will ever have to go to Hell. While it's true that Hell was created for Satan and his angels, the Bible says that those who fall under Satan's deceptions will go there as well. "Depart from me ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels" (Matthew 25 :41).

YOU CAN EARN HEAVEN

Once we have admitted that we have sinned, the next lie we often fall for is that we have probably done enough good to overcome our faults. However in God's eyes " we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousness (good works) are as filthy rags" (Isaiah 64 :6).

Two Questions To Answer In This Last Hour

Pastor JD Farag (Portion of Transcript) Revelation 16 2/9/25

"1 Timothy 4:1.

We're almost done.

I appreciate your patience.

This is the last one.

But we need to do real talk now.

Real talk.

You know what I mean by real talk?

This is where it gets real.

So if I could just humbly ask for your undivided attention as I read just one verse in 1 Timothy Chapter 4, and it's verse 1.

“The Spirit [That's capitalized, the Holy Spirit] clearly says [Expressly, some of your translations render it] [Explicitly] says that in the last days, some will [Abandon] turn away from the faith [And turn to] and follow after deceiving spirits and things taught by demons.”

Some of your translations render it doctrines of demons.

“Wait a minute. I'm sorry, Pastor.

With all due respect...” Whenever somebody says, “with all due respect,” I know what's coming.

Brace yourself.

With all due respect, you're about to get corrected rebuked.

This is a Christian church.

Yeah, but Timothy was a pastor of that Christian church.

And what he's saying explicitly is what the Holy Spirit has been warning about clearly, that in the last days, our day, there are going to be some who are going to turn away, abandon the faith.

Why are they going to do that?

Because they've been seduced by these deceptive spirits.

And they start following after them, not knowing that they are being taught the doctrine of demons.

Did you know that demons have doctrine?

I'll close, but before I do, I just want to share something openly, from my heart to yours.

This breaks my heart because this is exactly what's happening today.

Some, who prior to 2020, you would have thought were sound and solid.

Not in a million years.

And they got seduced and deceived.

And they're following these spirits, demonic spirits that are teaching them things taught by demons.

I'll just ask, and then we're done.

Which spirit are you following after?

Which spirit am I following after?

Oh, would to God that it would be the Spirit of God."

Father God,

As we prepare for rest....

We thank You for this day.

Father, You are the same today as You were yesterday, and as You are tomorrow.

Since the beginning of mankind, You sought to have a relationship with Your creation, to instruct us in the way that we ought to go.

Father, today we pray for discernment.

We pray that the Holy Spirit that indwells within us with give us a peace beyond understanding to know precisely when something is You, and when something is not.

Father, we want to be obedient to Your call in our lives.

We pray for such discernment to not only make wise choices, but in the course of it all to know we can trust Your guiding hand.

In Jesus Name,

Gracious God,

As I prepare to rest, I come to You asking for greater discernment.

Your Word says that if we lack wisdom, we should ask You, who gives generously to all without finding fault.

Lord, life is filled with choices and I desire wisdom to make decisions that align with Your will.

Give me a discerning heart and mind.

Help me to see people, and opportunities through Your eyes.

Holy Spirit, You know all truth.

Reveal any lies or deception meant to distort my understanding.

Expose falsehoods masquerading as wisdom.

Grant me clarity to know the difference between Your voice and all others.

Silence the conflicting opinions of this world so I can hear Your still, small voice more clearly.

Teach me to test the spirits against the truth of Scripture to recognize what is from You.

Give me discernment to know good from evil, right from wrong, helpful versus harmful.

Show me when to move forward as well as when to refrain from action.

Sometimes I Just Have to Remind Myself When I Start Feeling Down...

Repost....Lift up your spirits along with your heads...The Journey is a about to begin soon!

The Incredible Journey....

Lately been feeling the doldrums of hanging around this dark world. Seems like everyday one more light goes out on what was and the enemy gains another foothold somewhere.

But enough of the negative......

Now for the good part.....

I am about to embark on an incredible journey.....So amazing it will be... is a clear understatement of what is about to happen..

To start out this dying body is about to get renewed....That torn meniscus in my right knee......gone! The list of failing body parts could go on and on but would take up too much space. Total renewal!....and it's forever!

I am also going to go against gravity itself and make it to the stratosphere...

There I will meet the One who made this incredible journey all possible..Creator of all things.

Savior of my soul. What a Way to start a journey! (Hoping Mom and Grandma are there too)...

After the gathering ...we're taking off to a place you KNOW has got to be fantastic...It was prepared just for us. A place we were only able to dream about.

There the consummation of the promises made to us as His betrothed will be realized.

Before the big celebration He wants to reward faithful service....we will all kneel one by one before Him and receive recognition for what was done to serve Him.

The wedding....I can only imagine the majesty and the glory of the ceremony that we will participate in. In His great love He takes us to Himself forever.

You know I look at things alot differently with the renewed mindset that came with the renewed body.

I'm giving and feeling Love like never before..Old ways of thinking?...I can't remember what they were.

What a wonderful feeling to know that wherever He is...I will be too... forever!

Time to eat...*Marriage Supper of the Lamb...You know that this is gonna be better than any other meal you've ever experienced. After all....He is the Creator of all things and the menu has got to be GREAT!

(* Note..there are varying opinions on whether this happens in Heaven or after we return with Him to earth...either way it will be GREAT!)

He sure does Love us!

After we've rested in the safety He prepared for us.... He mounts up on a white horse and we follow His lead and we all head back from wens't we came.

We're about to witness The King of Kings...Lord of Lords.. our Bridegroom....take back what was rightfully His and destroy the evil that has run roughshod over His creation.

With all the power that is His....We watch Him take care of business quickly and He sets up His Kingdom on earth and wants His Bride to help Him rule and reign in the upcoming administration.

A Thousand Years....In our glorified bodies....Serving the One and Only God....What a position!

At the End of those years our Bridegroom will once again put the enemy in his place and all those who follow him ...once and for all.

Final judgment for Satan and all unbelievers from Creation to the end of the Millennial...will put the finishing touches on the set up to eternity.

The Eternal Lake of Fire for them.

The Eternal New Heavens and The New Earth with The New Jerusalem with Our Bridegroom for us!

Just doesn't get any better than that!

I thank You for her strength, her witness, her testimony.

And lastly, Lord, for anybody that maybe is even here in this church or watching online that's never put their trust in You, believed in You, called upon You, I pray that today would be the day of their salvation.

They would not delay because tomorrow's not promised or guaranteed.

Amidst the light of the Hanukkah candles that will illuminate Jewish homes and reveal the miracle of your presence in our world and recall the strength and heroic spirit of the Maccabees, and the salvation of the victory of those days,” reads the prayer.

“We come and plead before you that you will similarly bring light to all those who remain trapped in darkness:

To all the captives imprisoned in tunnels of darkness and are desperately seeking salvation and return to their homes.

To all their families and those who wish for their safety and welfare, while dark shadows continue to fill their worlds."

Dwight L. Moody
American evangelist

In April 1855 Moody was converted to evangelical Christianity when his Sunday school teacher, Edward Kimball, talked to him about how much God loved him. His conversion sparked the start of his career as an evangelist.

Moody’s simple, straightforward style of preaching was mocked by some as rustic and uncouth. It’s true that his grammar wasn’t always correct and his illustrations lacked philosophical pizzazz, but there is no doubt as to the Holy Spirit’s power in his meetings. D. L. Moody was a man of prayer whose one text was always the Bible. His practical wisdom born from his study was eminently quotable. Here are a few examples:

• “There are many of us that are willing to do great things for the Lord, but few of us are willing to do little things.”

• “He who kneels the most, stands the best.”

• “The best way to show that a stick is crooked is not to argue about it or to spend time denouncing it, but to lay a straight stick alongside it”

• “The Bible was not given for our information but for our transformation.”

• “A holy life will produce the deepest impression. Lighthouses blow no horns; they only shine.”

• “I look upon this world as a wrecked vessel. God has given me a lifeboat and said, ‘Moody, save all you can.’”

• “God makes a promise; Faith believes it; Hope anticipates it; and Patience quietly awaits it.”

• “God doesn’t seek for golden vessels, and does not ask for silver ones, but He must have clean ones.”

Estimates vary, but Dwight L. Moody is thought to have led as many as a million people to confess faith in Christ.

These verses show us ...

What tender love!

We think of a mother’s loving hand, brushing away the tears from her child’s face.

God loves us with that kind of nurturing care.

We also understand from this that every tear will only be wiped away in heaven.

On this earth, we have our share of pain and tears to endure and bring to God.

He shows His love now with sweet consolation and strength for our tears; but one day – in heaven, not now – He will wipe them away forever.

God’s Love Never Fails

Father, thank You.

We again admittedly could never even begin to fathom or comprehend this unfailing love that You have for us.

We know it, but we don't.

We don't fully grasp it.

We cannot because we're finite.

You're infinite.

Your love is infinite, unfailing.

It’s foreign to us as man.

But You’re God.

How could You love us so, even when it's not reciprocated, even when we're walking like Ephraim in disobedience and wickedness and refuse to repent, not so much the sin, but the refusal to repent?

And yet You still love us with that unfailing love.

Lord, thank You, thank You, thank You.

For anybody here tonight or watching online that has really been questioning and the enemy's just had a heyday with them, and they're starting to doubt, they've allowed those seeds of doubt to germinate and sprout about Your love for them.

Lord, draw them to Your word, Romans Chapter 8, 1 Corinthians 13, if need be, just as a much-needed reminder of Your love, and if that's not enough, the Gospels because “…no greater love hath any man that he would lay down his life for another.”

That You loved us so much, that You would give us your only begotten Son.

Oh, that's love.

That's unconditional love. So Lord, thank You for Your love for us.

Help us never to take for granted this huge gift of love on our behalf.

Help us to be reminded of the cost of it all.

Forgive us for being too busy, or distracted by other things, for not fully recognizing what you have freely given, what you have done for us.

Thank you, Lord, that by your wounds we are healed.

Thank you that because of your huge sacrifice we can live free.

Thank you that sin and death have been conquered and that your Power is everlasting.

Why Satan Can’t Stop God’s Plan For You

Father, thank You.

Oh, wow. Just wow.

Lord, I pray that You'll take this now to the next level by the Holy Spirit.

Because we're all prone to just kind of leave it here, not take it with us, and then become guilty, as James says, of being merely hearers of Your word and not doers.

And like You said, Jesus, recorded in Matthew 7 about the parable of the two builders and the one whose house was built on the rock didn't crash down as the one built on the sand.

And the only difference between the two were that the one built on the rock was built by somebody that put, the builder put Your words into practice.

In other words, he was a doer of Your word.

And that was all the difference.

And I pray, God, that we would be doers of Your word, take heed to Your word because You have our best interests at heart.

You want to protect us.

Sometimes You want to protect us from ourselves.

You protect us from the enemy for sure.

But sometimes the enemy is us.

Lord, I pray that You’ll do that work that will take this with us and give the Holy Spirit unfettered access to our hearts.

Your Word says the god of this world has blinded the minds of unbelievers causing great darkness and it is only the Light of Truth that can penetrate this darkness, Lord.

Please allow that light to shine in their mind and bring with it the knowledge of the glory of God, found in Jesus Christ.

Tragic spiritual losses are suffered when we follow the errant teaching of God casting off or replacing Israel.

We miss the majesty of God protecting His chosen people and their eternally covenanted homeland in our day.

We miss the mercy and grace of God towards even the most rebellious people by recognizing He who has regathered them as promised.

We miss the closeness of the Day of the Lord and do not have a reference point from which to see the day approaching.

Do I Know What’s Coming and Why?

Thank You, Lord. (Deep sigh)

It seems so insufficient to just merely say thank You, Lord, for going to the cross and paying the price in full for us, purchasing us, offering the gift of eternal life that You did purchase for us.

So Lord, for all of eternity, we're going to make up for that which we are incapable of doing now in the finite.

When we have our glorified bodies and we're with You for all of eternity,
we're going to praise You and worship You and thank You for this gift of eternal life that has been bought and paid for because of Your covenant in Your blood with us.

Jesus, thank You.

Thank You for Amos.

Don't let us leave it here.

There's a lot of stuff we looked at tonight that applies to our lives.

We need the Holy Spirit now to bless it to our hearts.

Make it real as only You can.

So Lord, thank You in advance for what You're going to do.

And thank You for the communion celebration. We really needed it tonight. I know I did.

Three Truths To Remember In Adversity

Revelation 11:1-2 10/27/24

Father in heaven, I pray that this will be an encouragement to those who are really hurting right now and struggling, even doubting.

Maybe they're having a real full-blown crisis of faith, and the enemy's done a number on them.

And they're just in the middle of it. Lord,
would You bring back to their remembrance who You are, how You are, how good You are?

That You're only always good. That You can take bad and make good.

Lord, would You remind them of these truths and the many others with them, the promises that You will see them through?

Because right now they need that reminder, that much-needed reminder.

Oh, Lord, it's so easy for us to freeze up and shut down and forget.

And here You are, just wanting us to remember that You have everything safely, including us, in the palm of Your hands, under the shadow of Your wings.

And You are in control of everything because You have rightful ownership of us and our lives.

So Lord, thank You for that, and thank You that there's an end to this.

In fact, when that trumpet sounds, it all ends for all eternity.

So Lord, come quickly, we pray. Maranatha!

Let me instead trust that you are in control and will make a way.

Lord, how can we ever possibly even begin to thank You enough?

Thank You for the Gospel.

Thank You that our redemption draws near.

Thank You for Bible prophecy.

Thank You for telling us what the world's going to look like before it looks like that.

So when it starts to look like that, we'll look up.

Believers will lift up their heads, and nonbelievers will believe.

Lord, I pray for anyone who might be — maybe here or online — that has never called upon You or believed in You.

They don't have that assurance, that hope.

Lord, I pray that today that would change right here and right now, that today they would make this day the day of their salvation and not delay the most important decision of their life for eternal life.

And for those of us, Lord, lastly, that know You, that long for Your return, watch for Your return, would You come quickly? Maranatha!

Things are getting really crazy down here. I know You know.

But please Lord, come quickly, we pray.

Praise the Lord. Kapono, come on up.

Stand up.

We'll close in song and prayer.

Thank you for your patience.

Not too bad today.

Thank You, Lord. It's tough stuff, but it's real and it's really happening.

And it's exactly what You told us in Your word would be happening at the time of the end.

Which means only one thing.

We're at the time of the end.

So as Matt Clyne had written, he's been looking up ever since.

Well, we want to be numbered amongst those who are looking up, knowing that our redemption draws nigh as we see all these things, and the many more with them that are beginning to come to pass.

Lord, I pray for anyone who has never put their trust in You for the forgiveness of sins that today would be the day of their salvation, they would not delay, put it off anymore.

And for those of us who are saved and many of whom have maybe been walking with you for many, many years, even from back in the '70s, Lord, we know You're coming.

And we know that You know that we're weary as the world grows darker with each passing day.

So Lord, we're just going to pray as You told us to. Even so, come quickly, Lord Jesus.
