The dev team is always on the move! We're now experimenting with a potential 1 Second Block Time (image below) which would bring the IoTeX L1 to 5000TPS... πŸ‘€πŸ‘€ making it the fastest EVM L1 on the market! πŸ’¨βš‘οΈ

⚠️ Please be mindful that this is still a test PoC.. but we're heading in the right direction. From the image below you can see how, during the 4s interval (x-axis), the block height (y-axis) went from ~105300 to ~105550. That's 250 blocks in 4 seconds... πŸ˜‰

Anyway lots more testing to do! We'll keep all builders updated on the upcoming progress! 🀝

We want to clear up some confusion about Network3's launch on IoTeX. Network3 IS launching natively on IoTeX.

You might have seen Ethereum listed as an option instead of IoTeX - EVM. This doesn't mean Network3 is changing its primary blockchain. It simply means the third-party plug-in they're using doesn't have EVM listed as an option, but Ethereum is listed in its place.

Rest assured, IoTeX is still Network3's Layer 1 of choice! We're excited to see how they leverage the uniqueness of the IoTeX infra to build a DePIN future. πŸ”Ό

We are working with their dev team to list IoTeX chain on their page so that you can directly choose IoTeX to claim your N3 points. Stay tuned for the upcoming updates. πŸ”₯
