This result season I have gone through Mgt commentary of different business

One thing is very common that most of the management possess the skill to hide the actual picture of business and present rossy picture of their business

So If you have not done your due diligence they can fool you easily

Some of the mgt hide bad quarterly performance so gracefully by giving some unrelated business related updates

So whenever you listen to mgt always have done your homework in advance and cross check what ever they are saying whether it is reflecting in existing numbers or in upcoming numbers

Story Telling should be supported by numbers

If numbers are not coming then look for reason if it is mgt problem or industry problem

If it is temporary or permanent damage

This will help you in reducing mistakes in investing
