This quote reminds of how tough life(preparation phase) felt, but once it ends you miss those days... Remembering how I used to worry about small insignificant things, how worries and anxiety would eat my time😀😀... But when you look backward you cheerish those moments and smile at how much you stressed on such irrelevant things...

Many of you would be in the same boat as mine, i wish everyone sail through and reach the shore.
It doesn't matter if you clear or not, you'll surely remember these days.

Few suggestions for IFS mains 2022

1. Please follow PYQs and atleast go through(if not solve) previous 5-7 years paper ( preferably start with 2013 till 2021)

2. Focus on areas which are repetitively asked including English, GK, Forestry.

3. Prepare essay feeders on topics such as education, health, environment, science, women, water etc. These are repitively asked. You can find such topics by going through PYQs

4. #Chemistry go through topics which are not in CSE syllabus such as liquid crystals, non aqueous solvents, cyclic voltammetry, statistical thermo, polymers(plus any other topics which I may have missed). There are questions from almost of each these topics and those are very simple.

5. For forestry, use examples with scientific names and diagram as much as possible. Although not very good but You may refer to some of my copies to get an idea.

6. Last but not the least, adhere to time limit: for GK 8 Min for 15 marks and 6 min for 10 min.

For Forestry, try to fill a page in 4 minutes( 8 minutes for 8/10 marks and 12 minutes for 15 marks)

For chemistry, proper selection of questions is necessary. Paper 2 is very lengthy. Be prepared for 40 questions of 5 marks with sub parts as well😄😄.

Dheeraj sir has been guiding light to many of us. It is rare to find such a person who is so experienced, simple and down to earth.
I'm sure his words of wisdom would help many of you.
Although it is impossible to sum his words in 40 minutes (because everytime I talk to him i get to learn something new) but still summarise everything very nicely

#Revision_Schedule #Prelims

Schedule
1. First pic denotes no of days to be alloted to different subjects during revision and practicing. No of days alloted would depend on your comfortness with particular subject, it might be less for one subject and more for another so plan accordingly.

2. Not that 1st and 2nd round isn't first or second reading rather it was based after 3-4 or more readings. It was more based on revising along with attempting mock test papers( we also made schedule to solve vision mock papers)
3. I assumed 80% efficiency of maximum possible so I left every fifth day blank.
4. Keeping 5th day blank solved two purposes, first it gave time to pursue recreational activity and it considered practical difficulty that it is not humanly possible to perform best everyday , there would be some low as well in preparation. Secondly it provided day to remove backlog of subject if any pending and without disturbing the timetable.
5. Every sixth day was reserved for csat so that it was not ignored.
