A number of people have asked how much the laptop I need is. Well, it’s kinda crazy actually.
I want to run local AI. This is only one step above the absolute minimum for running Llama with the big data set, otherwise it would be slightly less, 64GB vs 128GB RAM. Local AI will be far more cooperative in my studies than anything running on the web. Less nannying of the user. Can have it perform radically more exhaustive research.
I’m doing ok as-is, so it’s not an essential need. It will make my videos better though as I can add 2 more external displays which means things are queued up, so less distracting.
The price is simply absurd, no doubt about that, but they do go much higher if you start maxing them out. For the money though, you get the fastest and most capable laptop mankind has ever made.
This is purely informational. I’m not asking for contributions.

I must say, discovering the cause of my heart palpitations is changing my life. Stress literally kills.
I am getting my Cortisol under control and am well on my way to a full recovery. Palpitations are getting less and less and they're far less powerful than before.
I am feeling better than I have in years.

So no teeth extracted today. Dentist wants me to see Endodontist tomorrow first. $492 just for a consultation 😢. He thinks he can save the teeth and a lot of money in the long run. But I had a different tooth that needed saving as well and now has a temporary crown $895. I bit my tongue bad so have a suture in my tongue.
