یکی از سرورهایی که اخیرا توسط شرکت HPE معرفی و به بازار عرضه شده است سرور DL380 نسل دوازدهم می باشد.
روی این سرور پردازنده های نسل ششم شرکت اینتل نصب می شود که در مدل 6766E هر پردازنده می تواند تا 144 هسته داشته باشد و همچنین L3 Cache آن نیز 308 مگابایت است.
این پردازنده های نسل جدید می تواند از تکنولوژی DDR5 پشتیبانی نماید و فرکانس این Memory ها می تواند 6400 مگاهرتز باشد.
همچنین تعداد UPI در این پردازنده ها چهار است.
این سرورهای جدید دارای 32 اسلات Memory می باشد که هر پردازنده از طریق هشت کانال به این اسلات ها متصل است و در هر کانال نیز دارای دو اسلات می باشیم. در واقع هر پردازنده دارای 16 اسلات Memory می باشد و چنانچه هر 32 اسلات را ماژول RAM قرار دهیم می توان حافظه ای معادل 8 ترابایت در اختیار داشت.
بر روی این سرور بصورت پیش فرض کارت شبکه قرار ندارد و باید آنرا بصورت جداگانه سفارش گذاری نمود.
همچنین روی این سرور می توان حداکثر هشت اسلات PCIe نسل پنجم داشت اسلات های 1 تا 3 با پردازنده اول کار می کنند و اسلات های 4 تا 8 با پردازنده دوم در ارتباط خواهند بود.

سیستم Cray EX یک سوپرکامپیوتر طراحی شده توسط شرکت HPE می باشد که از تکنولوژی Liquid Cooling بهره می برد و بصورت Blade-Based می باشد. در عکس کابینت این سیستم را مشاهده می کنیم که می تواند مدل EX4000 و یا EX2500 باشد. در این سیستم از Closed-Loop Cooling استفاده می شود و هیچ حرارتی وارد دیتاسنتر نخواهد شد و همچنین در این سیستم ها دارای CDU می باشیم که در واقع توزیع کنند سیستم کولینگ است.
در یک کابینت می توان تا 64 تیغه پردازشی نصب نمود که این 64 تیغه درون 8 عدد شاسی قرار خواهند گرفت و همچنین با توجه به معماری این سیستم، درون این کابینت از هیچ فنی استفاده نشده است و تمامی منابع خنک کنندگی مورد نیاز آن توسط CDU تامین می شود.
مدل تیغه ها و منابع پردازشی نیز به عنوان مثال می تواند EX425 باشد که دارای دو پردازنده AMD EPYC است و تا 64 گیگابایت Memory را پشتیبانی می نماید.
