स्तुत्वा विष्णुं वासुदेवं विपापो जायते नर:
विष्णो:सम्पूजानान्नित्यं सर्वपापं प्रणश्यति।
सर्वदा सर्वकार्येषु नास्ति तेषाममङ्गलम्
येषां हृदिस्थो भगवान् मङ्गलायतनो हरि:।।
(स्कन्द. ५/३/१५७/७)
अर्थ:-
सर्वव्यापक विष्णु भगवान् का स्तवन करने से मनुष्य निष्पाप हो जाता है। विष्णु भगवान् का नित्यप्रति पूजन करने से समस्त पाप नष्ट हो जाते हैं।
जिनके हृदय में समस्त मंगलों के स्थान भगवान् श्रीहरि विराजते हैं, उन्हें कभी किसी कार्य में अमंगल प्राप्त नहीं होता।'
