🇮🇹Le origini del Ginkgo biloba risalgono a circa 250 milioni di anni fa in una piccola area della Cina. La foglia di ginkgo è il simbolo della scuola Urasenke della cerimonia del tè giapponese. E i suoi semi sono considerati il cibo del Buddha. Lo splendido giallo delle foglie mi ha sempre attratto e così, quando ho trovato una modella disposta a posare nuda al freddo e in mezzo alla città, ho realizzato questa foto.
🇬🇧The origins of the Ginkgo biloba dates back about 250 million years ago in a small area of China.
The ginkgo leaf is the symbol of the Urasenke school of Japanese tea ceremony.  And its seeds are considered the food of Buddha.
The stunning yellow of the leaves has always attracted me, and so, when I found a model willing to pose naked in the cold and in the middle of the city, I made this picture.  A few days before I would have no leaves on the ground and a few days later they would fall from the tree … a real race against time

This book is intended to be a photographic tribute to the works of Japanese artist Ozuma Kaname that depicted scenes of female bodies bound with the ancient art of shibari.
The intent of this photographic project, which is as difficult as it is challenging, is to pay faithful homage to Ozuma Kaname’s drawings by reproducing in today’s Italy settings reminiscent of Japan at the end of the last century.
Looking for appropriate settings, props for set design and costumes was no easy task.
Reproducing then in reality, with real bodies, really tied up and represented in certain situations, what had been previously created with a drawing, put my skills as a rigger (bookbinder) and as a photographer to the test, but above all the professionalism and willingness of the models who endured positions, situations and bindings that were anything but comfortable.
