I have no interest in 'promoting' my channel or content. I never asked nor encouraged anyone to join except as I thought they were seeking "secrets of the Kingdom" which God in His mercy had given me to share and hence may be of benefit or encouragement to others, actually it originally started as a way for me to save messages of interest and share what I wrote to encourage others with my wife and a few friends

After 11-20 I realized if the Godly don't speak out and promote the Kingdom of Heaven only the voice of the wicked is heard.

But, you each have access to your own knowledge of the kingdom - which I believe comes by obedience and faith (through grace, which is the fact that He created you and loves you and gives that desire to WANT to do His will)

Apparently I've "earned" $1.38 in ad revenue.... Not by choice. I cannot switch off ads until I reach "level 50" whatever that is. Right now it says "level one"

Being an absolute 'nobody' I simply created channel from the menu in 2021. I am not aware of any control I may have over what ad's appear.... Not paying for the app I can't complain. I do think it works really well, and is extremely easy to share media with. If the CIA made it they did a lot better job than their Twitter or Facebook apps!

As parents we tend to think we need to do BIG things... but just FEEDING our children (or anyone) is a BIG thing.

How many times is it recorded Jesus fed others?

He had fish cooking on the beach after his resurrection. He fed the five thousand. He fed the four thousand. He told the parents of the little girl to give her some food. He made wine for the wedding when they ran out.

God provided manna in the desert, he fed Elijah with the ravens, He sends rain (crops) on the just and the unjust too. He is constantly doing good work, as Jesus said and we should be as well, and we are when we simply care for others!

God's Providence
Conclusion

I started on this subject of thought about a year ago in order to discern how to compensate my own children as they become adults, as they work towards providing for a family of their own, yet work in a family enterprise. I don't want them conflicted between providing for a new household at the expense of others who they currently add strength to. Nor do I want them separating unnecessarily and losing the benefit of combined resources.

But, each child has a different character, vision and ambition.

With these scriptural principles I can discern how to provide for, compensate, and reward my own children in a way that is equitable according to their abilities, yet also rewards and encourages the ideal principles in scripture.

1. I will provide in Mercy all their basic needs to the best of my ability. This is where "fairness" starts and ends.

2. I will provide compensation of some sort and at the right time to the ones who are always putting forth physical effort; labor will be rewarded.

3. Most importantly I want to teach a heart of Responsibility. Those who rise to the occasion of increasing even what will not obviously be of a personal benefit just because it is right, will be put in charge of more as they are able and be given the fruits of their "ownership" in due season!

Responsibility

I've noticed in life, if we do well with little, God gives us additional Responsibility just like the parable. We would do well to 'own' them instead of being 'put out.'

Responsibility is hard, it isn't easy, but it's what God calls us to do.

David took care of "his father's sheep" (not his own) protecting them from lions and bears risking his own life. He then took on the job (with Saul's blessing) to defeat the Giant. Also not his job. He wasn't even in the army like his older brothers.

This shows the nature of additional responsibility we can often assume for added blessing. It may not required, but God looks for men who will "stand in the gap" when no one else steps up.

Be that Man or Woman for God.

Here is an interesting paradox between responsibility and labor.

Because Responsibility requires some labor, but abdication of Responsibility in the end, is always more labor, more hardship.

Did Adam and Eve neglect the cultivating and tending of the Garden by allowing the serpent to distract them from the truth?

They did if it included keeping deceiving beasts away. In any case they disobeyed God by listening to a different message than the one their master gave them, and subjected mankind to a much harsher form of labor; TOILING in the soil for our daily bread, rather than the original instruction of tending and cultivating.

3. Take Responsibility
Maybe the most important but least understood aspect of God's Providence for mankind

We must take responsibility for those things that fall under our care. If we are given a spouse or child we don't have a choice. This does require labor, but more importantly Ownership. It's the attitude of an owner and not a renter. A farmer vs a temporary worker. A citizen vs a migrant. It's cleaning up after a job and taking steps to prepare for the next person. It's taking the blame personaly when something goes wrong instead of making excuses to pin it on someone else.

I have seen in my own life the direct result of Taking Responsibility vs Not.

In my opinion if one wants to have a successful life with abundant blessings here on earth and also treasures saved up in the Heavenly Kingdom, it's not our labor that will do it, but how we take responsibility (ownership) for the things in this life which our heavenly Father gives us to do.

My Conclusions are this

1. Give basic human needs to others
We should recognize and thank God for giving us our minimum needs, which in many cases we don't deserve and we don't work for. We should likewise provide for others, be it our own child or a stranger. Any who need our help, we should give as much as they need, just as our heavenly Father cares for our needs.

Matthew 10:42
And whoever gives one of these little ones even a cup of cold water as my disciple, truly, I say to you, he will by no means lose his reward.

2. Reward Labor
Any who work under our direction should be rewarded appropriately. Do not withhold payment. Likewise we should not expect any reward if we ourselves will not work.

I Timothy 5:18
For the scripture saith, "Thou shalt not muzzle the ox that treadeth out the corn". And, "The labourer is worthy of his reward."

2 Thessalonians 3:12
Now them that are such we command and exhort by our Lord Jesus Christ, that with quietness they work, and eat their own bread

God's Providence for Mankind
(3 of 3)

The third principal, (and maybe most important for our consideration) is almost hidden from our worldly minds, the thoughts and cares of this life crowd it out just like the message of the Gospel sown among the thorns. The world teaches us to abdicate this process through our cubicle society and modern production methods, telling us to focus only on our little zone of 'schooled' abilities. But, this one is woven throughout the scriptures and plainly visible once you start to see it;

3. God rewards Responsibility.
He gives mankind responsibilities. Some voluntary and some required. It started in the beginning when God gave Eve to Adam and they should care for each other as one person. Then God told them to cultivate and keep the garden. And here we have the first example of neglecting responsibility and being cast out of the garden, relegated to a life of toiling in the soil for our daily bread.

Contrast this with the great men of scripture. They grasped responsibility seeing it as a higher purpose not only for themselves but for mankind. Leading ultimately to the Messiah who voluntarily laid down his life for his friends.

I believe it can be summed up as things we choose to do well because they are within our ability and we see God's giving us the responsibility and or opportunity - many times they don't appear to have any direct benefit to us, but we know they are right. It's especially so when it appears the reward of our labor will go to benefit another. And, we choose unselfishly vs selfishness.

The second principal is seen in every moment of daily life and is 'as a law of nature.'

2. God rewards labor
He gives an increase to energy output. Tend your fruit trees or vines and enjoy the fruit. Nourish a flower garden and be rewarded with beauty. Whatever one puts their hands to do they can expect to receive back accordingly.

I have observed three principles in Scripture in regards to God's providence for mankind.

In considering these, I believe it is our duty to likewise reward and care for those around us, and we can do so wisely using these principles. How do we care for our children or those working for us? It is often a question how to provide for them, and yet also reward for labor and responsibility...

1. God is Merciful
He provides basic sustenance for all living creatures.

Matthew 5:45

"2 years ago I was teaching my children about the US being a Constitutional Republic and how it is recited in the pledge of allegiance.

Shortly afterwards my child's elementary school teacher was teaching the class that we live in a Democracy. So my child raised her hand and said. "If we live in a Democracy than why do we say and to the Republic when we say the pledge of allegiance"? The teacher waited a minute and responded, "We live in a Democracy."

My children came home & told me the story. I told them they were right. I also explained that prior to President Trump taking office we did live in a Democracy because a small group of bad rich people took the power away from We the People, but when President Trump was inaugurated, he returned the power back to We the People.

Red Beckman has some great videos on Democracy vs. Republic & how they do not teach you in school about the Republic because you would realize that in a Democracy the power is with a few & you are at the bottom of the totem pole, but in a Republic God is at the top & We the People come next, putting the government below God & We the People. They need to have a worldview with a God centered heart so that they can withstand the arrows and be strong in their faith in the moment in wisdom and discernment. When my wife (also Bethany) and I married and started having children, first one, then two, then three... We realized how much more our parents could have done to encourage our relationship in a Godly fashion. Not that they weren't loving and supportive but culture has taught almost a stand-off-ish attitude. ... which frequently leaves young adults to "flounder" into their 30's and beyond. Some get desperate and choose poorly while some resigned themselves to "it just isn't God's will for me" then with the push for careers it often becomes late or difficult to having children. I think all of this is a plan of satan for society

As you said "it's never too early to start praying"

We realized it's never too early to associate with other strong Godly families so our children have the best possible options, where they can meet and develop wholesome relationships with young adults who have a heart towards Him. Then we will encourage and support age appropriate marriage giving them our years of wisdom gained through going through the process!

Otherwise should we put them in un-Christian schools, decaying churches, worldly colleges and hope for the best. Not me!

We hosted a wedding last week.

The banquet tables were spread with white linens, the guests arrayed in lovely clothes!

Those things take a lot of hard work to clean! One time we loaned some white tablecloths to another wedding which served chocolate drinks and desserts. A lot of children there! Let me tell you, Bethany worked for many days to get those clean again and some had to be thrown out!

How much more should we strive to be respectfully arrayed upon our arrival at the heavenly Banquet with our spotless Lamb.

He gave his life and death to wash our robes White from our sins and those of our ancestors - for shame we should pile on more spoilage all over again once we know better we keep chocolate off of white linen and we keep sin out of our lives!

The average life-expectancy in the US (from birth) for a male is 75yrs, and 80yrs for a female. But once you make it to 60yrs, the average is about 80yrs. Since I'm 63, the odds are good I'll make it to 80yrs.

Above, I've shown eighty dots, with separators between each set of ten dots. I've shown the last seventeen dots two-high, to show how many more years I'm likely to live on average.

It's interesting to view one's life in this manner. For example, the fewer the double-high dots remaining, the more precious they become. But the remaining dots are perhaps also more rewarding, because of the wisdom and infrastructure acquired and nurtured in the previous dots.

For someone who has invested well in the earlier dots--in family, relationships, and financially--it is a time for harvesting.

For someone who has not invested well in the earlier dots, it can be scary. What can someone do to redeem a life with too many wasted dots?

Death is the ultimate statistic: one-out-of-one people die. So death is a part of life, just as birth is. The fact of death reminds us that every day is precious.

When contemplating my choices in life, I like doing two thought-experiments. I call them the "Credit Card Game," and the "Death Bed Test."

In the credit card game, I imagine what I would do if I had unlimited resources: a credit card with no credit limit, and I never have to pay it back.

In the death bed test, I imagine myself on my deathbed, looking back on my life. What things did I do, or didn't do, that mattered?

Then, I like pondering all of it from an eternal perspective: what things did I do, or not, that made an eternal difference?

Then, I like to consider Jesus' words from his "Sermon on the Mount."

“Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys, and where thieves do not break in or steal; for where your treasure is, there your heart will be also."

What really matters? That's what I'm going to try to emphasize.

Take a fortified city? Don't bring in the catapults and battering rams... I say, send seven priests, blowing seven rams horns, marching seven days and seven times on the seventh day. Then shout. That's all you need with me.

Yes, actually it could. While the physical tokens or paper we us may be printed or minted by the U.S. Government the underlying value is set by the Federal Reserve (a very OFFICIAL sounding name, isn't it)

We can't exchange our paper for "money" which should be defined as something with "lasting or intrinsic value"

Then they "loan" it to US who pay RENT to use THEIR currency. It's currency not money and we rent our money. Therefore we will never ever ever be able to repay the national debt.

That is presumably our debt to International Bankers who have enslaved us with their Federal Reserve Central Banking System. Like any slaves, we cannot be free until we pay off our debt to our captors. By their design, our freedom is impossible to achieve.

In reality, that's just Monopoly money created by "them." There is plenty of food, water, land, and energy for everybody and we can and should live free in a Capitalist society bartering and trading with tangible assets and services.

Over the next few weeks and months, and years as our life is blessed and returns to normal we will forget what God has done for us. We always do. It's human nature to forget God's providence in times of plenty.

Our purpose during the rest of our lifetimes should be to burn the importance of faith (conviction of the truth) of the wariness of the devil (his deceiving nature) into the minds of our children and grandchildren. A love of obedience and truth, of the two Greatest Commandments.

Maybe Jesus returns tomorrow or next year, or maybe we have a 300 year reprieve of judgement. But, Let's not be the fathers and mothers of the next complacent generation of men who forget that God has done all things and is in charge of all things. That His Law rules forever!
