A massive wildfire has erupted in Pacific Palisades, prompting mandatory evacuations for approximately 30,000 residents and threatening over 13,000 structures. Fueled by intense Santa Ana winds reaching up to 80 mph, the blaze has grown from 200 to over 1,200 acres within hours.
Emergency services, including over 250 firefighters and aerial support, are battling to contain the fire, which remains uncontained. The Los Angeles Fire Department are asking for any active or retired firefighters to come help contain the blaze.
