So there are already Tech and Pharma layoffs from multinationals over the past 2 years and there hasn’t even been a massive shock like a Trump-Vance card lowering corporation tax and trade screwing Ireland yet.

60% of corporation - 25% of government income - comes from just 10 of these - with Pfizer, Google etc having mass layoffs offs.

52% of income tax comes from 7.7% of jobs that pay over €100k that more than likely come from most of these private companies

What has Ireland done to prepare?

- shut down bord na móna, even imported peat from Latvia
- Severely damaged tourism and small family businesses during Covid and later Migrant crisis. Hotels ridiculously expensive or stuffed with Somalis. Place is getting more dangerous every month. Tent city.
- Services pushed to the absolute limit. €5 bil a year in medical legal liabilities with foreigners making 80% of tribunals. Children’s hospital one of the most expensive buildings in world more than the Burj Khalifia and still not finished.
- still terrible infrastructure, no metro in Dublin, no train to Donegal, motorways owned by foreign pension funds for profit, airplanes now limited due to green policy despite the fact we’re an island
- 21% of electricity is used by data centres - the energy which we need to import because the government won’t tap into our potential off shore oil and gas reserves due to green policy nor is nuclear discussed and coal plants like at Moneypoint are phased out
- Even simple manufacturing and business like Sudocream have closed up and moved to Israel and other foreign countries

Update on the post above about the foreign man who posed as a HomeCare worker to rob an elderly lady in Cabra. Additional details about his clothing has been uncovered:

He was captured wearing a black & white trucker cap with the words "Palm Angels" written on the white front panel.

His black hoodie was from Lacoste's Novak Djokovic collection. The white silhouette of a figure on the black is hitting a tennis ball.

His runners were Nike's Metcon 6 in a grey/green camo type colourway with a black heel and a high distinctively shaped tan rubber sole.

Community activist Paul Nolan, who is offering €1,000 for information about the man's whereabouts, has had his account suspended on X.

As the man posed as a HomeCare worker and was familiar with the procedure of signing the blue book, there is a suggestion he possibly knows someone who works for HomeCare. He possibly works or worked with them himself though it looks like he spotted the camera and was comfortable being recorded.
