I just need advice.

What is this new trend of young boys plaiting their hair and piercing their ears.

I have two sons who I have been quarreling with.

They are both in their 20s and wont listen to me. They have refused to cut their hair.

They even take it to church and wear earrings.

I don't like the message this is sending to others.

Already people keep asking me why I have allowed them to do that since their father is no more.

The older one has spoken to me about it just being fashion and it doesn't mean they are bad boys but my worry is the message it is sending to the world.

He just completed the University with a first class.

He uses that to tell me not to worry it's just fashion.

Please am I out of touch or my concerns are valid. I will show them your comments on this.

Way back in school, we were 4 friends.

Then one had a fallout with us. I dated her and when we broke up she stopped hanging out with us.

Then we became 3.

Along the line the other 2 started dating but the girl and I had this energy around us.

She was dating our other friend but she will come to my side and I will eat and we will behave like nothing is happening.

Later they got married and this thing didn't stop.

I travelled to pursue a graduate program and she was sending me videos and messages as if she wasn't married to my friend. They had a first child.

That, I know is not mine cos I wasn't around although we had s*x before I left, the timing is not it.

But I returned to Ghana and she spent her weekends with me cos her husband worked overtime on weekends.

They have 3 children now. I strongly believed at least one of them is mine.

She admitted to not being sure herself cos she was sleeping with both of us at the same time.

I got a job in another region so I moved there.

I felt it was a break from her and a good thing. I got gfs here and there, ho*kup girls too but she came around once and since then I couldn't stop f*king her.

All this while I was working on outside moves to travel and work outside.

She wanted to divorce her husband for me but I told her I cannot date her cos my friend will find out and even be suspicious of the kids. After school i'm not that tight with her husband, but still.

Last year I got this job opportunity in middle east and I travelled without telling her.

She would send me messages and I will ignore.

Now she says the last kid is my son so I should come for him and her husband has found out and they will divorce so we should be together.

I blocked her. Now she has gotten in touch with my parents. Telling them the same story.

They are telling me to return and do DNA to claim my kid(s) and take them.

Meanwhile things are beginning to be good for me here.

My man & I are in a relationship for about three years now he is a good person and that shy type.

Last week we were taking a walk and he stepped on a lady by accident and this girl started yelling and shouting at him he kept his cool and apologized to her and we all went home to my surprise he told me he can no longer date me as he was expecting me to defend him against that girl so we should take a break.


I asked him to explain he said he won’t and that we should just break up.

I'm still confused about all this cos I’ve never cheated on him and I do all the needful as a girlfriend so pls guys help me understand this.

I want to know why i'm at fault in this.

I've been married for 15 years, but 10 of those years have been very tough.

My husband left for the US in our 5th year of marriage.

It was something he was chasing for a long time and he never specified the procedure.

All he told me was that he has gotten a good job there so we'll have a better life.

For the past 10 years, he has only been home 2 times. Our kids were very young when he left.

He wouldn't even let us visit him.

Along the line, a family friend of ours who is also in the US called and asked if I was divorced?

I told her I was still married. She didn't tell me anything after that.

Later she sent me pictures of my husband openly kissing a white lady.

I asked my husband about it. He said it was a short affair he had here but he had broken up with the lady.

My friend kept warning me to stop believing my husband blindly.

She told me he lives with the woman and they have children there.

He sent me a link to the woman's instagram account and my husband is living as a family man in abroad with kids.

Traveling from here to there. I sent him the pics on whatsapp without a comment and he has blocked me I tried calling him many times, no answer.

His mum said he will talk to him.

How do you talk to a grown man to leave his family there and focus on the 3 kids he has here?

I work as an accountant in a real estate comapany.

When I got married, something told me to buy one of the units. I was paying in installments, and anytime my husband sent money, I added it to pay.

When my friend told me about his family there, I demanded more money from him, lying about the kids fees, so that he will send us more.

So my plan is to move with my kids out of my husband's house into the 3-bedroom I have bought.

I want to cut ties with him, end everything and never look back.

His family, especially the mum thinks my decision is rush.

His brother is also saying the house is his brother's house cos he was the one who was sending the money.

I have put that house in my name and no one can take it from me.

But you see how we Africans think?

They are not blaming their son for leaving me for the past 10 years and cheating on me.

But I'm the golddigger for finding an opportunity to buy a house out of the situation.

Many men in this country are toxic, many families are toxic. Many marriages are toxic.

I'm so going to divorce him and focus on taking care of my kids.

Marriage is not something I will ever do again.

I will focus on growing my career and maintaining my independence.

I'm a woman in my early 40s and I've had my fair share of heartbreaks. I used to go out with this man when we were in our 20s. He is one of those exes that I never forgot. We shared so much and I thought we will marry.

I later found out that he was just deceiving me, and he was a serious womanizer who told different girls the same stories to get into their pants. I attended a funeral in 2022 and met him again. This is someone I haven't seen in almost 20 years.

To cut the long story short, he has been chasing me for over a year. Assuring me he is a changed man. He has 3 children from 3 different women. I know these are all red flags. But he has told his whole family about me, and for the past year, his brother has been trying to convince me that he has changed and I should give him a chance again.

I've never married and I don't have a child. Having a family is something I would like a lot, but men have really disappointed me in the past.

I want to ask if I will be doing the right thing by giving this man another chance? He has been very persistent the past year, and honestly I never stopped loving him.

I'm just afraid of committing to someone again and being hurt afterward.
