When the media covers any event, and before reacting emotionally to that coverage, it can be empowering to remember not everything is all as it seems.

We are, I believe, naturally compassionate beings, but there are, it seems, some who use that compassion against us; to actually fuel hatred with anger and fear.

Or fuel fear with hatred and anger.

Sometimes to love courageously is to simply not believe the lies.

An empowered life means knowing even dictionaries lie...

Anything 'free' comes with a price.

Like the dictionary delivered to you inside your computer. The price, in this case, is exposure to propaganda.

New words with new meanings decided by someone, somewhere unseen are presented as fact, but they are not fact.

This word and the meaning attributed are designed to elicit fear, compliance and a blind obedience to the authority offering the 'cure'.

The same authority describing the 'disease'.

PS. Some other sources of this subtle form of propaganda include Canva (who, during the scamdemic, had automatic prompts asking if you really wanted to create a post with the C0V1D word in it), LinkedIn (censorship is propaganda), Twitter (the Musk takeover coincided with a new 'algorithm' suppressing certain users and information) and many more. Can you think of any not so obvious sources of propaganda/mind control?
