First we want to thank our community, as ever, for their patience. Following a review of the current $BONDLY rewards platform we've concluded that the $xBONDLY APR equation is not fit for purpose, both in its complexity for our users and also in the variability of the APR dependant on the amount of rewards available in the pool at any one time.
With our new Forj dApp on its way, which will include a new launchpad and rewards platform, it's a great opportunity for us to simplify and streamline our experience ready for the next wave of adoption.
Key next steps:
Alongside the sunsetting of $xBONDLY, we will be conducting an airdrop of final $BONDLY rewards to compensate users for any inaccuracy in the rewards calculation caused by the current mechanic. You will not lose any of your current or potential earnings, and no action is required. We'll be conducting the airdrop at the point when the current rewards pool ends in May (see point 3 for details).
From next week, our development priority will be the $BONDLY rewards pool - both fixing our current pool (for BSC users) and ensuring our new one is ready to go. We'll be undertaking a smart contract audit before deploying the new one is deployed.
Our aim is for the new rewards pool to be available by the middle of May 2024, within our new dApp. At that point you will need to remove your funds from the current pool and redeploy them into the new one, which will have a new (higher) APR to compensate for the inconvenience.
The new platform will provide rewards in $BONDLY for deploying your $BONDLY, and will be simpler for users to understand.
Beyond $BONDLY rewards for holding $BONDLY in our rewards pool, there'll be further opportunities to get rewarded! More to be revealed later in the year.
