CardStarter Labs, Ltd. and SundaeSwap Labs, Inc. today announce that they have entered into an agreement to resolve their respective claims and counterclaims regarding whether certain CSWAP tokens holders and LP migrators may obtain SUNDAE tokens.

Pursuant to the agreement, SundaeSwap has agreed to make available 225 million SUNDAE tokens for distribution pro rata to eligible CardStarter community members, excluding any CardStarter officers, directors, or consultants, who will not receive any SUNDAE tokens or other form of material reward or compensation from this settlement. In the settlement agreement, both parties continue to deny any liability for the claims of the other, and both CardStarter and SundaeSwap will bear their own legal expenses and costs, but agree that resolution now is in the best interests of each party and their communities.

SundaeSwap has set up a web app at https://claims.sundae.fi/ to facilitate the distribution of SUNDAE tokens to eligible CSWAP tokens holders and LP migrators. An independent claims administrator has been retained to help SundaeSwap oversee the distribution of the SUNDAE tokens, which will vest over time.
Any SUNDAE tokens not claimed by eligible CSWAP tokens holders and LP migrators by July 31, 2025, will be redistributed half to eligible claimants and later the other half will go to a Cardano-related charity. Claimants will need to link an eligible Ethereum wallet and a Cardano wallet, and then provide KYC/AML information and a release to the claims administrator to confirm their eligibility and facilitate distribution of the tokens. Users holding ERC20 CARDS tokens may bridge their tokens to Cardano using Wanchain.

Following the Nomad Hack event, ERC20 CARDS tokens have been replaced with CARDS V2 tokens via airdrop, which are transferrable 1:1 for CNT CARDS.

Steps for bridging CARDS V2 Placeholder tokens to Cardano:

Step 1: Select CARDS under the “select asset” option.

Step 2: Click “Select from chain”, and select Ethereum.

Step 3: Connect the Ethereum wallet address holding the Ethereum CARDS V2 tokens.

Step 4: Click “Select To Chain” and select Cardano.

Step 5: Paste the Cardano address where you would like to receive your CARDS. Do not use an exchange address.

Step 6: Fill token amount

Step 7: Click “Next”.

Step 8: If requested, select and wait for the spending cap transaction to finalize.

Step 9: Review transaction details, click confirm if they are correct.

Step 10: Your transaction has been submitted. You can view the status of the transaction in the “History” tab of the WanBridge website. Wait for the status to change to “Success”, this may take a few minutes.


A small number of users may see two CARDS V2 token contracts listed in their possession. Please be sure to utilize the contract address posted in this announcement.

Users who have withdrawn from Gate as of March 7th, 2024, have received a CARDS V2 replacement airdrop. Users who have not withdrawn: Gate has received an airdrop as per snapshot data.

Step 5: Paste the Cardano address where you would like to receive your WMT. Do not use an exchange address.

Step 6: Fill token amount

Step 7: Click “Next”.

Step 8: If requested, select and wait for the spending cap transaction to finalize.

Step 9: Review transaction details, click confirm if they are correct.

Step 10: Your transaction has been submitted. You can view the status of the transaction in the “History” tab of the WanBridge website. Wait for the status to change to “Success”, this may take a few minutes.

🟢 TEMPORARY LP NOTICE UPDATE

Received confirmation from Milkomeda that the Cardano (CNT) side is safe and sound --All is well.

As far as we know, there is no ADA-side exploit at this time, however, as security is our utmost concern, we will be pulling liquidity from the ADA/CARDS pool to be safe. We would recommend users with LP do the same, until we gain confirmation from Milkomeda/Nomad teams that things have been secured --at which point we will re-pool.

IMPORTANT Quick update for those not in the main channel:

A vulnerability has been exploited on the Nomad bridge. Fortunately, due to our timely migration, CardStarter CNT LP has not been affected. Only a residual amount of un-bridged liquidity on Uniswap (erc20) was exposed to the hack. As the amount of remaining liqudity was magnitudes smaller than the CNT pools, the price impact appeared to be significant on related charts. The CARDS price has not changed --only on erc20 where coingecko and CMC pull data from, where there is no official liquidity pool.

Users please do refrain from purchasing/trade/move erc20 cards at this time, along with using the Nomad bridge. It is very likely that any cards you might purchase post-hack will not be transferable to CNT.

Bridge Update!

The development of the ETH to ADA Bridge is complete, and now in the beta-testing stages. Barring any issues in testing, we anticipate that the bridge will be live and functional in the latter half of the upcoming week!

When the bridge goes live we will be releasing a comprehensive guide of the features, and a how to video guide as well as a step-by-step tutorial.

We will also be enabling the ability for GERO and C3 LP migrators to claim their LP on the Cardano side via DripDropz within the upcoming week as well.

We are excited to have nearly arrived at this monumental step towards establishing our ecosystems on the Cardano Network.
