SENED was established by a group of humanitarian and social activists in responding to the Syrians suffer since 2011. SENED has become specialized in working with and supporting people with special needs since 2015 due to the realization of the tremendous tragedy that people with special needs live in Syria through periodic visits to their places.
Job Purpose
Based in Gaziantep, the <<Finance Assistant >>> is under the line management of the <<Finance Manager>>
He/She will be responsible for:
Main Responsibilities:
Finance Assistant will be responsible for the tasks assigned by Finance Manager based on Finance department SOP’s mainly for filing, documenting, and archiving.
Moreover, they will be also assigned for operational tasks like:
• Reviewing all cash payments, for documents, signatures, and vouchers.
• Tracking all cash advances for project and field team.
• Following-up weekly, and monthly cash counts, prepare all necessary signed document.
• Record transactions for project expenditures on accounting system (QuickBooks Online).
• Supporting the preparation of the project financial report.
• Supporting other Finance team in review all bank payments requests.
• Assist in preparing the bank letters and all other correspondence.
• Complete any other tasks as required by other Finance team.
Qualifications and Experience:
• Intermediate diploma or bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business, or related departments.
• Preferably 1 year (at least) of previous working experience in NGOs, INGOs.
• Familiar with Microsoft Office and OneDrive.
• Good with Excel; Functions, PIVOT, VB, Macros.
• Good level in English and Turkish.
• Experience with Accounting software QuickBooks Online
