Adobe and Google have teamed up to democratize AI and AR in everyday life! 🤯

You don't even need to know how to code anything.

A new creative profession on the way?😉

➡️"YOLO NAS" is a phenomenon.

It is a real-time object detector with a latency of less than 5 milliseconds.

It will eventually be integrated into mobile cameras and will have a "click to buy this item" feature.🫣

We wouldn't be surprised to see Apple or another giant integrate it soon.😏

🟢Have we already gone too far?

We have just entered a period where technological advances seem to accelerate week by week. If you look back to 2016, what LLMs enable today seemed unattainable.

Convergence is now happening in many areas. The real battle for AI supremacy has begun, with sudden and dramatic improvements.

Futurists have been predicting this for decades: once past a certain point, the pace of change will be so rapid that humans will struggle to keep up. We are entering one of those inflection points, where AI models explode not only in numbers, but also in capabilities, integrating into almost every aspect of our lives.

We may be limited by our imagination to truly understand the era of tomorrow.

Our current technological growth has been governed by Moore's Law.

- What will happen if growth begins to accelerate?

- Are we ready for the societal changes that will hit us quickly?

- What will happen when we give machines locomotion, sight, smell and hearing?

Man has been trying to create a copy of himself for centuries, why? This quest seems to reveal a god complex in man.

We are currently living one of these key technological moments with the rise of LLM (ChatGPT, Bard, Claude etc).

AI will never be stupider than it is today.

Some of the most disruptive products are currently run by small teams. One example is Midjourney, a generative AI startup specialized in image creation, which has a team of 11 people and over 15 million members on their discord.

Another success is of course OpenAI, with ChatGPT. It reached 1 million users in 5 days, then 100 million in about 2 months. It is estimated that ChatGPT currently has about 200 million users.

We are in the early days of AI, which means we are in the early days of the Intelligence Era. This technology will reach every corner of the world faster than anything else in history. It is the most rapidly adopted technology ever invented.

The implications of this will resonate in the history books for centuries to come. We could go back to 2023 as the point of no return.

It is up to us, Humanity, to do the rest.

(Apart from some post-prod modifications).

What could be better for a skincare brand than to be able to generate all its visuals by an AI, all in a very particular style.🤫

This is just the beginning, more and more brands are using AIs to create original and creative visuals.

Can you see the difference?🤔

We think the same will happen to our mental abilities thanks to AI!

Just as we've built machines that exceed our physical strength to devote our energy to other tasks, we think the same will happen to our cognitive abilities.

The rise of AI does not mean that we will become mentally weak, just as the invention of machines did not make us physically weak.

On the contrary, AI will allow us to channel our mental energy into higher-level tasks, sparking new waves of creativity and problem-solving.💡

We will leverage these tools to extend our mental reach, just as we used physical tools to extend our physical capabilities.

It's an exciting future to look forward to: a future where AI enhances our innate human abilities, rather than replacing them.

But for that to happen we need to think and work in that direction, not seek to become digital assistants.

Who agrees?😉

Much has been said about the fathers and godfathers of artificial intelligence lately, but what about its mothers?

Let's start with Ada Lovelace, often considered the first computer programmer, who wrote the first algorithm intended to be run on a computer. 😇

It's good to pay tribute to all the deserving people who have advanced this field!😉
