A fellow church member of the church I belong to commented that it seems "apostate" for me to question the language BYU uses online, potentially attracting illegal aliens to bypass immigration processes with phrases like “Welcome to the Brigham Young University Undocumented Student Resources Website” followed by “We strive to help you feel a valued part of the BYU community regardless of your lawful standing.”

From my last post, a comment was dropped, “BYU has been instructing students to create businesses in their name to weasel around deportation laws. I KNOW this!” That’s a pretty detailed accusation. If true, shouldn’t we be asking these questions as a state, even if we are members of the church?

Another anonymous message I received stated, “BYU gives scholarship money and loans to undocumented students.” Can we inquire if this is true that American or international students with visas are potentially competing with illegal aliens for these scholarships? Is this being honest in our dealings, if true?

Is it really “apostasy” to highlight how far leftist activists have infiltrated BYU? For instance, members pointing out that BYU allows Rainbow Flags and Black Lives Matter flags in professors' classrooms, movements which are not only anti-Christ, but contrary to The Family Proclamation to the World?

Moreover, is it apostasy to highlight when professors like David Cardon tear up The Family Proclamation in front of students on video on BYU campus? Who is truly engaging in apostasy here? Us, or Cardon?

Is it apostasy to question why some BYU professors teach that gender is fluid and “androgyny is the key,” using tools like the Gender Bread Person to suggest that sex and gender don’t matter to God? Again, who is apostate?

Is it apostasy to highlight that a prominent Gay Rights Activist Atheist, Jonathan Rauch who consistently mocks Trump supporters and Republicans online, was ironically invited to speak at BYU about last week about "online civility," invoking the words of Jesus Christ, whom he doesn't even believe in, to lecture us as church members at BYU?

The person who labeled this "apostate" behavior also referred to BYU as the "Lord's" university. Really? In its current condition, BYU seems no more the "Lord's" university than Deseret Book is the "Lord's" bookstore or Deseret News or KSL are the "Lord's" news outlets, which unfortunately push far left-wing propaganda more times than anyone wants to admit.

Even Elder Holland publicly addressed the need for massive reform at BYU, mentioning they “hold the purse strings” in reference to activist professors who cross the lines daily. Was he apostate? The answer is no. He was doing what we all need to be doing. The brethren can’t do it alone and we as church members don’t need to wait for directions to Stand for Something.

Would Brigham Young himself question everything above? and be dismayed by much of what's happening at the institution bearing his name today?

I’ve received numerous messages from people who believe it’s “apostasy” for me to critique LDS church owned Deseret News or Deseret Book’s political moves online, like canceling "The Miracle of Forgiveness" by Spencer W. Kimball because it was criticized by gay activists for its stance on homosexuality, while simultaneously promoting books by authors like Papa Ostler and Michelle Obama. Again, which behavior is closer to apostasy?

BYU, Deseret Book, and Deseret News have done remarkable things in the past, but they now appear increasingly influenced by worldly trends (Mormon 8:38). I hope for a return to their foundational principles. I would love nothing more than to report on the positive changes these institutions desperately need.

Here’s the good news: the gospel and the keys have been restored, the church is true, and Jesus is still the Christ. This has been prophesied in scripture. And I'm incredibly thankful to be alive and part of it.

🚨Utah Bill Aims to Significantly Slash Sex Offender Registry Time to 10 Years for Certain Cases, Citing "Unfairness" to Predators - A Very Dangerous Move.

In an interview Utah Senator Todd Weiler said, “This is like my third or fourth attempt at the sex offender database,” he said, “only because I keep on getting contacted by these families saying, ‘We feel like this has become a lifelong sentence and we don’t think it’s fair.”

This legislation seeks to reduce registration times for not only individuals convicted of human trafficking for sexual exploitation, but also sexual abuse of a child, and sexual exploitation of a minor on a case-by-case basis.

Because my open feedback is that I hope this legislation is killed as fast as the sacred innocence of these little children who are sexually abused over and over.

As a former police officer, I've seen firsthand that certain crimes, particularly those involving the sexual abuse of children, should absolutely warrant lifetime consequences for the perpetrators, especially those who molest children. Why? Because this diabolical behaviors guarantees lifetime consequences of trauma, pain, anguish, and PTSD for the victims and their families, even when their older; no matter how many counseling sessions they sit in, or priesthood church blessings they receive.

A lifetime registry isn't at all punitive or “unfair” to the perpetrators; it’s actually an act of compassion towards society, all of us, ensuring that everyone knows who the predators/pedophiles are in the community/neighborhood thus, preventing future lifetime harm to others.

Individuals with a sexual attraction to children often retain these inclinations for life. This is their thing. And it doesn’t just “go away”. Reducing time down on a sexual registry list isn’t worth the risk to potential victims who would never know they were on the list to begin with.

My personal stance may be seen as too extreme in a society that clearly doesn’t understand the pain victims go through their entire lives: those who sexually abuse others, especially children, should face at least a life sentence in prison, if not an immediate death sentence. Even Jesus Himself emphasized the gravity of such offenses, stating, "It were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he cast into the sea, than that he should offend one of these little ones." (Luke 17:2)

You do not mess with little kids. Period. There's nothing more vile in our society than the act of child molestation. And an adult willing to commit such an act should never be allowed to mingle with children ever again, anywhere on this planet. And if they are out in society, we should all know who they are.

Senator Todd Weiler, I urge you to not only reconsider your position, but to never entertain this idea again. If you’d like to engage with survivors of sexual abuse to truly understand the lifelong trauma, pain, and PTSD, please let me know. I can set it up for you.

🚨BREAKING 🚨Utah State University's women's dorm has allegedly allowed a “transgender” individual as a "Dorm Mom," turning a supposed safe haven for female students into a nightmare of wokism that threatens the safety of female residents.

This week, Cheryl Saltzman, a concerned mother, bravely took to social media to voice her outrage because a man has now moved into her daughter’s all-women's secure environment (Merrill Hall Dorm) without notice to the women students. She was horrified to meet "Marcie," whom she said is clearly a "biological man" infiltrating the dorm. "Marcie" now ironically holds the misleading title of Resident Assistant, or “Dorm Mom” a position that should be about protecting young women and the “community standards”, but is now compromised.

Stalzmans’s said at some point during “Marcie’s” move-in one of the female students who lives in the dorm spoke with “Marcie’s” mother, who not only confirmed “Marcie” is in fact a “trans” person with specific pronouns to use, but wanted to make sure the female students“felt comfortable” her son was moving in with them. I was able to independently corroborate this part of the story.

Saltzman's courageous post shed light on her deep discomfort with "Marcie's" inappropriate presence in the dorm, questioning whether "Marcie" has inappropriate access (as the Dorm Mom) to the private rooms of these vulnerable female students. After her complaint, the university, in a dismissive move, merely offered her daughter alternative housing, showing clear negligence towards the safety and privacy of the remaining female students in the dorm.

Saltzman shared a photo with me depicting a strange introductory collage “Marcie” apparently created and publicly posted on a large wall in the dorm for all the girls to see. (See below)

“I’m doing this to make change and to protect the female students who may not have the courage to speak up. And last, it’s just wrong!” She and her husband told me in a phone interview with them… “Our daughter luckily had us as parents who live close enough to the school to protect her; and a lot of these students don’t have that kind of support” Eric Saltzman said.

This scandal echoes a recent uproar at Utah State University (Logan, Utah) where brave members of the women's volleyball team, like Kaylie Ray, were unfairly vilified for standing up against playing against transgender athletes from San Jose State. It's worth noting that some misguided staff from Utah State University were allegedly among those condemning their own team, revealing a disturbing pattern of disregard for women's sports and spaces.

The situation raises serious doubts, again, about the leadership of President Elizabeth R. Cantwell at Utah State University, who seems more interested in pushing radical agendas than in safeguarding the sanctity of women-only spaces and sports.

Hopefully this story will not only push USU to take swift action, but also compel “Marcie” to disengage from gender appropriation in women’s college dorms, and ultimately remove the “woman face” he has on.

There was a post circulating about the Utah Department of Health and Human Services possibly removing children from their parents for not using pronouns.

Transgender Female, uses she/they pronouns, 14 - Male, 15

Current situation/what led them into custody?

Their current home is not accepting of the transgender youth's pronouns or identity and this is causing strain with the children."

@UtahDHHS has responded and said:

"Please let us clarify: Children are NOT removed from their home because their parents disagree with their gender identity or because they refuse to use certain pronouns....Children are removed if it is the only way to keep them safe from abuse and neglect as defined in state law....This email was related to a foster home transfer, not a child entering custody. With every foster care placement, we strive to match youth and children with families where both feel comfortable and can thrive together."

In my opinion, "placement OR transfer" shouldn't have ANY type of this very confusing language that isn't true. Especially with a dangerous current fad that has the potential to physically and mentally mutilate our Utah children permanently.

The way UDHHS has framed their post below, no matter how much they believe they're helping these kids, is implying their original parents are somehow hurting their own kids by not using untrue words and phrases. This should have zero weight in where they're placed next, regardless of the current home situation.

This is another move by a Utah government entity that's not rooted in truth, and in my opinion is causing much more harm, especially mentally on these very confused children who they're supposed to be protecting.

Please let us get out state back on track so our future posterity can be rooted in truth.

The illegal alien problem in Utah poses a far bigger threat than people realize, extending well beyond just "violent crime".

Having worked as a police officer in downtown Salt Lake City for nearly a decade, I can attest that the actual number of illegal aliens in Utah wildly exceeds official estimates. And since moving to Southern Utah it's becoming a major problem down here as well.

If Utahns were aware of the true scale of how many are actually here illegally, I believe it would be the #1 concern of this state, everyone would be talking about it.

To those who argue that these are "good people just seeking a better life," I agree. However, they should follow the legal pathways that millions before them have respected. Those who bypass our laws to enter the U.S. often show little regard for our legal processes, therefore will continue to do just that. Further, most illegals are sadly used as political pawns to crash our own system, all in the name of "loving our neighbors".

This disregard can lead to political consequences, where these individuals who came illegally will most likely support political parties that advocate for policies which, in turn, condone and pretend to justify their original crime of entering here illegally.

If we remain apathetic to the hundreds of thousands of illegal aliens, the state risks internal collapse, not just economically, but culturally and politically.

Utah is perilously close to following Colorado's path and turning solidly democrat. If we, especially our leaders, fail to embrace President Trump's actual deportation plans (beyond just targeting violent offenders), Utah's unique identity and political balance will be destroyed for good. This is the biggest threat to our state. Mark my words.

Always follow God first. Conscience will never lead you in the wrong direction. The Spirit, or light of Christ, is your conscience.

I probably get more messages about "What is the church doing?" Or "How can this or that be reconciled while the church is doing this or that?" than any other message sent to me from different platforms or through email.

I definitely don't have all the answers but anytime I experience both disappointment and sadness when observing how worldly influences have infiltrated every institution this world has to offer, including religious institutions like The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints for example, the church I belong to and love, I believe it's possible to see these issues for what they are, and still be a positive member of whatever church or institution you belong to, whatever denomination, all at the same time.

I believe you can see these "secret combinations" infiltrating within, and yet can also stand as a witness and defender of what true doctrine is being taught within these institutions, recognizing the immense amount of truth and light they still bring into this fallen world, particularly the eternal doctrines that remain unchangeable.

Where would we be without the Restoration of the Gospel of Jesus Christ? I personally would probably be on a very dark path, or dead.

There will inevitably be internal opposition within both institutions and individuals who strive to do good. We are all fallen sinners. However, I believe it's crucial to try and seek out and nurture the best aspects within them and ourselves, rather than focusing only on the negative, diminishing their value, lest we end up with nothing at all. It's tough to do, but what other options are left? Where would we go? Start baptizing people in a church we make up? Until what? Corruption enters that church? And then start another?

Then Simon Peter answered him, Lord, to whom shall we go? thou hast the words of eternal life. And we believe and are sure that thou art that Christ, the Son of the living God." John 6:66-69

People will even send me messages asking me why I don't "Call the church out in the same way I call out the Government!?" Simple for me. The government isn't Christ's Church. And my role isn't God's role. In other words, I believe in focusing on cleaning my house, and God will clean His, as He needs to. See D&C 112:23-28 but focus on 27&28.

In other words, I believe we must become the positive individual change we wish to see within (sometimes talking about hard uncomfortable topics) and these institutions; will hopefully slowly, bring about even more good than they already do.

For those curious about reconciling the Biblical timeline with scientific evidence suggesting the Earth is older than 6,000 years, consider this perspective: Before the Fall of Adam and Eve, they existed in the Garden of Eden, on this particular planet, where time did not exist, often referred to as eternity or the "eternal now", where God Himself lives. However when they partook of the forbidden fruit and fell from grace, not only did they enter into a state of mortality, but the world itself transitioned "fell" out of this timeless state into one where time, as we know it, began to flow. From this viewpoint, the inception of time as we understand it could have occurred 6,000 years ago from humanity's perspective, even if the Earth itself is much much older. Energy and matter cannot be destroyed or created, but can only be organized within the space of that particular timeline. Just some food for thought on this subject.
