There was a message in another channel about why you shouldnt compare your returns with people of a different style and Why you should compare with people of the same style?
My answer is that always compare your results with the other investment opportunities you have and not other people. My Response in that group is below
I have always felt you should compare with the alternate investment opportunities you have. Assume there is a fellow trader with your style of trading doing better than you. How does it improve us. The only way it can improve our capital is if we give him our capital and whether he can trade on behalf of us to make more money.
Say, Vinay Does 150% in his account. All We can do is appreciate and learn. Vinay is not going to manage your account. We can learn from him but comparing is of no use.
Most of us are stuck into the thought of multiplying our money by ourselves. We should always look at Multiplying our money. Doesnt matter who does it for us. Your bank wont ask who made that money.
Suppose you have 10 investment options
1. Small Cases
2. Mutual Funds
3. Index Funds

This was my message in January,2024. I seemed to found reasonable solutions to handle them.
Question 1 - How reduced Denominator could have saved me some DD.
Answer 1 - Have started looking for Gaps>3% and taking entries at 5min breakout with LOD as stops. This has reduced denominator greatly.
Question 2 - How can I bring in Low Risk Entries before the breakout?
Answer 2 - Answer 1 is again relevant here as they provide me those low risk entries.
Question 3 - How Can I enter the stock earlier in the trend?
Answer 3 - I have already started looking for entries in Base 1 and just out of base 1 only. This has helped build a decent size position before it enters confirmed stage 2.
Question 4 - Problem of Urgency in stocks which are in Base 1. Jublpharma moved very slowly and didnt have urgency. How to find urgency.
Answer 4 - I am preferring stocks which have had EP Days in Base 1 and also IPO stocks which are in early bases. This helps me find that urgency which institutions provide.
Question 5 - The problem in Jublpharma trade I saw was the size was built very gradually and not in one go. That way Average cost is very high.
Answer 5 - To Solve this, I had 2 options, use the full risk and take bigger sizes in one go or pyramid small sizes but quickly and have low risk to the overall PF. I chose the second as I wasn't confident of my enties. Even if they fail, I lose less.

Update on #polyplex . Added 9% more today. 39% Size now
Now I have only 8% Baluforge. Since Baluforge is also moving in tandem with Polyplex, I am treating them as same and slowly moving balufrge to plyplex. that way I have only 2 stocks in PF

I was very lucky today. #ganecos SL around cost didnt trigger. I really dont know why. When I sit in front of system, I immediately cancel GTT and place a stop market order to ensure proper execution. Stop placed around cost at 2010
