📄🤔 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁'𝘀 𝗔𝗧𝗦 𝘀𝗰𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘂𝗺𝗲 ?

Most of us don't know .
yet we often blame 𝗽𝗼𝗼𝗿 𝗰𝗮𝗺𝗽𝘂𝘀 𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 for not getting shortlisted.

📍It's important to understand that most of the time, recruiters don't personally review your resume—software does.

If your ATS score is low, you'll be automatically rejected, 𝗻𝗼 𝗺𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗵𝗼𝘄 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗰𝗼𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘀 𝗼𝗿 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗲. That's why it's crucial to have a resume with a high ATS score.

5. Bullet points with 3 sentences

Your key message will be lost
Try to fit bullet points in 2 lines

For each job experience use:
• 3-4 bullet points
• variety of action verbs

6. Creating 2-pager Resume

Recruiters spend 6-10 seconds screening a resume

Make your first page count by adding:
• Relevant work experience
• Key hard & soft skills

7. Use a flashy design

Stick with a simple & clean design

Get Editable 94 Ats score resume : https://topmate.io/engineerhub/1123607

Focus on making words your power

The design should complement the message, not distract.

I don't think jobseekers understand how these 7 things can ruin their resume -

1. Stuffing with keywords
You can't cheat the ultimate system ask the Hiring Manager.

Star candidates make their CVs stand out by focusing on:
• Clear Narrative
• Achievements

2. Not proving hard & soft skills
Everyone can say I am a team player.

Show how you used the skill to create value.

E.g. Created a social campaign that delivered 20% growth by working with the Devops team.

3. Make your job experience sound like a job description

Don't say "responsible for managing data"

Show the impact you created by using X, Y & Z format.

"What you did, what was the outcome and how you did it."

4. Poor formatting and grammar

Recruiters know it's your resume.

-You don't need to write I or me.

Start with the action verb, e.g. created, organised, etc.

And do not spell the numbers. It's hard to skim read and it's annoying
