Not so smooth for Scroll π
The Scroll Layer-2 has released the airdrop of their highly awaited SCR token, but as usual, most users werenβt pleased with how the tokens were allocated.
For the first round of its airdrop, the team distributed 5.5% of the total token supply, equating to 55M SCR tokens, to early users and contributors on Scroll.
40M tokens were given out linearly to users who earned more than 200 points during the Sessions campaign, while 10M were distributed evenly across all eligible wallets.
The remaining 5M tokens were earmarked for users who fulfilled specific criteria, such as holding ENS names or donating to Gitcoin.
Interestingly, some community members have noted that the amount allocated to Scrolls users is the same amount given to Launchpool participants on Binance and is much lower compared to other airdrops such as ZkSync and EigenLayer.
