Manmohan Singh, born 1932, was India's PM from 2004-2014. An Oxford-educated economist, he led economic reforms as Finance Minister in 1991. His tenure saw economic growth, welfare schemes like MGNREGA, and the Indo-US nuclear deal. Respected for his scholarly governance, he passed away, leaving a legacy in India's modernization.

1932 में जन्मे मनमोहन सिंह 2004-2014 तक भारत के प्रधानमंत्री रहे। ऑक्सफोर्ड से शिक्षा प्राप्त अर्थशास्त्री, उन्होंने 1991 में वित्त मंत्री के रूप में आर्थिक सुधारों का नेतृत्व किया। उनके कार्यकाल में आर्थिक विकास, मनरेगा जैसी कल्याणकारी योजनाएँ और भारत-अमेरिका परमाणु समझौता हुआ। अपने विद्वत्तापूर्ण शासन के लिए सम्मानित, वे भारत के आधुनिकीकरण में एक विरासत छोड़कर चले गए।
